This restaurant was a great dining experience, the restaurant itself was beautiful with very nice decor, seating, and menus. They made the price of dishes clear and described all of them. Our waitress was very sweet, she kept up on our dishes and drinks, answered any questions we had, and made our time there easy while still paying attention to the other customers. The food was very very good. It was definitely fresh and made to order. We will absolutely be eating here again!

Not a great experience. There was a huge hair in my drink. When brought to their attention there was no apology, just came back to ask how the food was. The food tasted good. However, I asked to sub the sweet potato fries with rice, which I got, but they didn’t give me the beans that should’ve went with my meal. The music was loud. The waiter was not personable. The seat cushions need some TLC. Not an establishment that I will recommend or go back to.

this used to be such a solid spot. good atmosphere, great service, decent food (not the most authentic, but delicious and available in every configuration you can imagine). about fall 2025 i had a bad meal here, with no regulars working the floor, and chalked it up to a bad day.
went in recently with friends and was shocked. my food was near inedible. it didn’t arrive how i ordered it, nor am i even sure it was WHAT i ordered. i’ve had this particular dish thousands of times in mexican restaurants from new york city to san francisco to tijuana and back and i’ve never had it served up chewy in a thick sauce. even the salsa was bad—it used to be thick and spicy, but this time it was weirdly sweet and watery.
the server tried, but spoke neither ingles nor español with any fluency. and the music was not appropriate for a restaurante mexicano… atmospheric AI slop that could not be identified.
anyway, confirmed that there’s new management in the place. i didn’t even see a single mexican working, and i guarantee no cocinero made my dinner. i will not be back, please beware—if you enjoyed GUADALAJARA, this is not the same place (their facebook page is even called guadalajara 2.0). oh and they raised every single price on the menu.

Just visited here while staying a night at the Quality Inn, they had great reviews online. I was hoping I’d have a great experience aswell. When my party of 4 arrived we were seated immediately with no wait time. The booth we were seated in had very dim lighting so we requested a seat across the room. The waiter who serviced us was promt in asking about the drinks we wanted and in the midst let us know that he didn’t speak English!
How are you connected to a hotel with a number of multicultural guest every day coming and going and have staffing that can’t speak the language waiting on tables? Needless to say, ordering everything took more time than it should have because we had to repeat/reiterate/point to the menu quite often for 4 people!
The drinks were made quickly and the wait time for food wasn’t bad either. The drinks were good 8/10. The food was ok just not what I expected 7/10

I used to live in Chicago and had many authentic Mexican restaurants very close to my place where I lived. When I moved to PA I didn’t get the chance to actually find a restaurant that had authentic Mexican food.
I stumbled to this restaurant with my friend/brother and his family and the 1st impression was that the waiter was very kind, professional, and on point with everything!
The food was delicious and authentic and it tasted just as good as the places I used to go to in Chicago
Highly recommend this restaurant if you are any close to York and want Authentic Mexican food!!!

Fun, had a good time with friends.. the food was incredible, get the guac, you won’t regret it! Fish tacos were good, the sauce is an acquired taste. One of my friends has beef sticks in their purse. They also had a big selection of jarritos. Yum! Until next time! PS. Fun music to bop to.

The service here was horrible. We had to wait like 25 minutes for a drink. The food was horrible. They brought us a soup. We told the waitress about the food not being right. All they give us was a $3 discount on a $20 plate.
And I had to demand for my beer. Because I was basically almost done with my food and my beer wasn’t at the table.

This is our go to Mexican spot in the area. The table side guac is awesome! We haven’t gotten any thing that hasn’t been good. The atmosphere is really cool as well. And the prices are very reasonable! My only complaint is something has changed with the salsa recently not for the better.
