Tired of these unprofessional taco spots. If your restaurant says it opens at 9am. It should open somewhere close to that time. I understand things happen but never ever should it be where I show up a whole hour after your supposed opening time and you haven’t even got in the building. I mean chairs still up and all so if it’s 10:30am now and nobody’s here that means you won’t actually open till way past 10am. when it says you open at 9am. I mean it’s so bad you have somebody here trying to get in the building with a toolbox in his hand so I’m guessing they paid someone to come fix something and they aren’t even here

Great lunch spot!
I often get the al hombre at places around the twin cities. I think it’s a ton of flavor on a budget. I had the carne asada al hombre and it did not disappoint. Steak was delicious and plenty of cheese. I asked for the veggies to be cooked a little longer and they accommodated my request. Overall fresh and good quality. Thank you guys for providing solid lunch!

We visited for the first time and we’re really happy with the food and service. We ordered Pollo Platter with chips and guacamole on the side. Everything is so flavorful and tasty. Definitely we will visit again when we are around.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in the area! My husband and I were sad when this location was closed down for a few weeks with all the harassment that Hispanic restaurants have been facing around here lately, and that we had to drive over to Richfield to get our fill of Al Pastor. Glad to see it open again and as tasty as ever.

I stopped by Taqueria La Hacienda on County Road 5 with a friend, and wow, what a treat. Between the two of us, we devoured a burrito, an elote, and three tacos el pastor, they have pineapple in them! Every bite was bursting with flavor, that perfect mix of smoky, spicy, savory, and fresh. The elote was creamy and bold, the tacos had just the right amount of heat, and the burrito? Wrapped like a gift from the taco gods.

But what really stood out (besides the food) was how smoothly everything ran. The line moved fast, the team was focused and friendly, and the vibe was cheerful and inviting. You can tell this place is loved by the community and rightfully so.

If you’re in Burnsville and craving real-deal Mexican food, this is your spot. ¡Buen provecho!

If you get anything here, definitely make it the tacos Al pastor. They are some of the best that I’ve had. The meat is perfectly crispy with a hint of sweetness from the pineapple.

The food is great but I’m knocking this down to 4 stars for the service and price. The vibe is fast casual where you order at the counter and pick up the food when ready. The service is definitely not in line with the vibe as it took nearly 20 minutes for us to get our order. Additionally, the tacos are $3.50 each and don’t come with any extras like chips and salsa. So definitely expect to pay more than expected for a counter service Mexican joint and I recommend ordering ahead if possible.

My fiancé and I stopped here for a quick lunch – I ordered the tacos (Al pastor, carne asada, and pollo) with cilantro and onions. My fiancé got the pollo burrito and it came with chips and spicy salsa. The tortillas were fresh as well as the other ingredients. All was delicious!

Update, we go here a lot and finally tried their torta’s! They are huge and delicious . Definitely get your bang for your buck, and could feed two.

Used to be a most go to spot. Has definitely gone downhill. They forgot my tortillas in my last order and it was togo so we had to go back to the restaurant and ask for the tortillas that were supposed to be included with my meal while everybody else’s food got cold. The amount of onion and cilantro that was also supposed to be included? Maybe a tablespoon of both..combined. For what was supposed to be four tacos. Extremely sad experience from a place I love that will probably make me not go back because there are plenty of places of the same quality around.
