Great visit here this morning. I had the hamburger it was delicious. The patty was juicy and tasty. The waitress was very nice friendly and courteous she didn’t mind me taking pictures and writing a review. Which made me more comfortable. They have great food here I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m in Sprague. They have outside dinning also.

I found myself driving with no destination in mind, but I knew I would end up someplace. (My review history will show I live in Spokane) Lo and behold when I got near Sprague I remembered hearing about the Viking Drive-In and have been wanting to try it.

I got in and the lady was very sweet and accommodating. Service was fast for my Viking burger and fries. It was very tasteful. Fresh meat and well oiled fries. It’s nice to get away from big brand chains and get to a mom and pop shop with real taste. I had their last marionberry pie and that tasted delicious as well. I wanted to try their milkshake, but got too full. So, I have a reason to return again.

I didn’t take any photos because the first bite had me hooked. Also as a lover of all generations of music I had a blast hearing some oldies and singing along to songs I heard playing at the time I was there.

Go on by. It’s a cute, wonderful, and very tasteful spot.

Decent food, nothing really wrong with it, just basic. The famous Viking Burger is just a simple double cheeseburger with fairly skinny patties. The tator tots were delicious, perfectly crunchy on the outside with a little soft center. The Cole slaw was good, a little different and a little spendy, but very tasty. Dad had a grilled chicken burger that he said was good, but nothing fancy. Dad got some strawberry Rhubarb pie that I’m pretty sure was in a plastic container from a grocery store. The biggest issue was probably the prices. Far too expensive for the amount and delivery of the food. I do have to say that the service was wondeful. Our waitress was very pleasant and the food was delivered timely.

This small diner was such a find! The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The onion rings had tasty batter and were not greasy, and the burger was a classic. Our waitress was the sweetest lady! I would stop here again whenever I’m traveling through Sprague next.

Wow, one monster patty. I finished everything and I’m now ready to slip into a food coma. Good thing it’s not my turn to drive. I really hate soggy or limp fries and was happy to have crisp yet tender ones, which I ate first, because, who likes cold fries!
I highly recommend Viking Drive-In if you find yourself in the area. Can’t wait to try the shakes next time.

Follow-up, June, fantastic burger and the best fries I’ve had since the last time I was here.

Consistency goes a long way.
Another 5 star review across the board.

Excellent burgers in a comfortable setting. Prompt, friendly service. Small indoor and outdoor seating area besides the drive in. They also serve shakes, etc. I didn’t really look at the rest of their menu.

We loved this place!!
We always try to stop at little off the path places when we are on the road, and The Viking Drive-Inn did not disappoint!!
We got there for breakfast… we sat in the small dining room, felt like an old timey movie diner.

I ordered biscuits and gravy with hash browns. My wife got the short pancakes stack with bacon and eggs.

Both plates had plenty of food, they were fresh from scratch, taste of home, perfect temperature.

The lady server was very friendly, kept coffee full, and checked on us regularly.

I loved the atmosphere of the little diner, lots of old pictures of the town from old days, etc.

We will! be back!! Thank you for a great meal!

If you need to take a break on a drive, this is the place to fill up. Gas across the street and delicious food here. Their breakfast is amazing. #9 with chicken fried steak and they don’t skimp on portions. My wife gets mad when I stop here and she’s not with me
