Never been to Applebee’s so decided to give it a try. Had to wait for a table although 50% of the tables were empty. Then sat at the table for 20 to 25 minutes while our waitress totally ignored us. Finally got a waitress from a different area to put in our order. Another long wait. When it arrived it was mostly awful. I had salmon which was so overcooked it was more like eating jerky. The fries were nicely cooked but cold. Only my wife’s hamburger was good.
The please was dirty, food on the floor and down the backs of booths. The springs on the booth seats died years ago and we were basically sitting on wooden frames.
I see a long collection of reviews saying similar things and clearly the owner had done little to improve the place. Not long before it dies would be my guess

I travel to Lima regularly for business and I have to say was
a little nervous reading the recent reviews about this specific place and so I felt I needed to post. There are about five well-known restaurants all within a block so there’s lots of competition in East Lima off the I-75 highway
I was seated in less than a minute after walking in and the place was over half full, so it was not slow.
My server Alyssa came to my table within about three minutes and after I ordered, I had my food less than 12 minutes and it was served hot.
The Oreo milkshake is absolutely delicious and as good as anywhere!

We took my daughter out for her birthday dinner today, 2/8/26. The food was good, and our server was wonderful. He (gentleman with short hair) was friendly and attentive and did a great job. Towards the middle/end of our meal the superbowl halftime show came on. The blonde, female bartender on shift very loudly started complaining about the performance to her manager and other male coworker (gentleman with long ponytail) present. She went on and on about how the performer should be singing in English and it’s confusing that he sang in spanish because people in america don’t speak spanish and how he must be bad if they (tpusa) had to have an alternate show. Everyone is entitled to their opinions (even if theyre not great ones) but that was definitely not an appropriate conversation to have in front of guests. Especially once the MOD started chiming in. We quickly asked our server for boxes and our bill and skipped out on Dessert because our experience was ruined by this disgusting display of xenophobia. Do better as employees and human beings.

Our table was near the bar area so the bartender was our waitress and had to tend the bar before helping us. At one point she called across the bar and across the isle to my daughter and asked her if she was ready for the bill. The TVs were almost too loud to hear her. This was not her fault. She was given too many people to help. I ordered the grilled chicken as a healthier option. However, it was so salty that I could not eat it. It also had a lot of pepper on it, but I probably could have handled that. It must have been soaked in a brine because I tried cutting the top and bottom off but that did not help. I paid the full bill with no discount for the meat. I did not ask for one. The only reason that I am posting this review and so that others are informed.

I don’t even know where to start! It took the server 15 minutes to even come get our drink order and the appetizer we got came out absolutely horrible spinach dip was cold cheese sticks were old chips tasted stale and the quesadilla was hard as a rock. entree comes out cold chicken they put lime on my daughters chicken even though she stated she did not want it her loaded potatoes were cold. The ribs were tough and just not good. If you aren’t drinking and at the bar you get ignored. We ended up with food poisoning and to this day not one person has returned any phone calls or any emails.

Ordered online and only received half my order. Ordered the large ultimate appetizer and only received the chips and spinach dip. Ordered the 2 for 25 and didn’t get my garlic mashed potatoes. I called the store and talked to a manager and after I talked to her, I’ve been on hold for over 22 minutes. I won’t be back!

Table was sticky food was not cooked right plus I had a hair in my food I had the bourbon steak I added steamed broccoli to my meal my mashed potatoes were missing and my broccoli was raw and there was a hair in my food the time I was there they were not supper busy my waitress took 20 mins just to take my order but she did not write it down never will I ever go back

We were staying at the Hampton Inn next door and walked over for dinner after a long day of travel. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was very attentive. We each had a salad and they were fresh and delicious.
