I ordered the Chili cheese wrap and the dude taking the order says in a very smart ass tone,”oh you mean the Frito wrap?” Umm yeah it’s the same thing right? The menu says “Chili cheese wrap”. Then I took a few bites and realized that the tortilla was raw when I unwrapped it, not edible so I didn’t finish it. Could you also teach your car hops to not place the bags of food on the window seal? I had my window rolled down and she placed the bag right on top of window seal while I reached out to grab it. I don’t trust that the bag isn’t greasy on the outside from a dirty counter etc and don’t want it on my new car.

Despite low stars I stopped by when traveling thru SA. This location was polite and got my drink perfect! Shocked at prices however. I travel a lot and drinks are on average $4 for double vanilla and cherry Rt 44, this place with shot of vanilla for a large was $5.80.

Ordered a shake and like a hot dog and i was there for 30 minutes. I didn’t even get my order I was just tired of waiting so long I left, how long should it take? Maybe I should’ve given them the full hour to reheat food and press a button.

Don’t know how this place is still in business. Went Friday evening (Jan 4th 2026) and the first stall we pulled up to looked like someone had already pressed the Red button and there was no response. Tried pressing the Red button a few times and waited a couple of minutes and still no response. Thought maybe that screen was broken so we drove around to the other side. All the screens on the other side were turned off or falling down, so we drove back around and tired a different stall. Pressed the Red button and the screen gave the message telling us someone would be right with us. Waited maybe 5 minutes with no response so we left.
Should be noted that aside from 2 people that tried (and failed) to order from the walk-up, there were no other cars present so it’s not like they were busy. Also the screens that did work are developing large black spots where they’re going bad.

Stopped in to take advantage of the BOGO Coney dog offer. We arrived and thought we could order on premises, but was told we had to order using the App or Online site. So, Online I go, I press the BOGO button, and walk through the order. At the end, it shows 1 dog ordered… I’m puzzled, but how am I supposed to know there ordering process.

Anyway, we advised the staff member that we ordered the BOGO Coney, and they noted we only ordered 1 hotdog. I walked them through the Online order process I executed and said show me where, after I press the BOGO button, I’m supposed to add another hotdog, and apply a coupon at the end ???

They agreed and luckiky they were empowered to make things right, and brought out another hotdog. Thank you for customer service and empowered employees !

So, for all of those walking through the Sonic BOGO process, just ask for assistance up front, and insist on it.

Anyway, 4 star rating was for the poor Online instructions, but thankfully good food, and employees.

Please don’t order DoorDash from here. They are incapable of having the order ready at the pickup time which makes the driver late. It effs with my money having to wait 10-15 minutes before they even acknowledge I’m here

Barely any of the stalls had functioning systems, and for some reason they decided to remove the majority of ordering stalls in favor of parking spots for app orders. They covered up the screens of the few remaining with a handwritten note from mgmt. They were somehow out of slushes when we went, and the vanilla shakes we ordered instead tasted terrible and nothing like vanilla (more like a blend of every flavor combined with chemical taste). The manager was running the intercom, was kinda rude, and tried to rush us through our order even though we had to completely rethink what we wanted due to them being out of so many things. The location is very poorly lit and gives off a dangerous vibe at night. I don’t know what happened to this location over the past few years, but it has gone downhill and keeps heading that way each time I visit, which is sad bc almost every Sonic location near me has closed over the past few years. If this location keeps getting worse and closes, there will be no locations within 10 miles of my house. Hopefully management can turn things around, or let new mgmt take over to revitalize the place.

So i dont usually write reviews, but this location has just disappointed me so many times. I live very close so its a good choice distance wise and most of the staff are pretty nice and helpful but where the kitchen performance starts is where the good things to say about this location end. My food has repeatedly been stale and just ugly looking and often cold. ive bought hotdogs and just thrown em out because they were so cold and gross. This evening me and my son decided to try the peanut butter bacon burger and its was so plain and sad looking while the taste was sub par. i wont going to this location anymore. i tried to look past the fact that staff could probably just be real tired as i often go at night but im just throwing my money away at this point cuz i hardy ever finish the food here.

Edit: I know this is one of the busier Sonic’s, but if I take the time to speak slowly and clearly, and ensure that I tell them everything that I want, it should come out right. Last visit nothing came out right. I even took the time to sit there and ask them to correct it. Long story short, review your order.
I would like to thank Chris for reaching out to me and listening to my concerns. He listened and understood and hopefully things will be better in the future. I stopped at a lot of Sonic’s in the city, and spend more money than I probably should at Sonic. Thank you for listening Chris.
