We were on a flight layover. In this area, there’s not a lot of food options.
The weather was in the negative, snow and ice covering sidewalks and medians.
We made our way to Nick and Nina’s.
Typical bar/pub atmosphere. A section with pool tables, dart boards, and more.
We got seated, and our waitress approached to take our drink order. Took longer than a normal order of drinks take. On top of that, I received the wrong drink.
We ordered our food and, once again, took a while. (Not sure if our waitress was new). She was not good. She kept forgetting the small things we asked for.
The major one, a steak sandwich, was given almost 20 minutes after the salad was brought out.
It’s not a first-time visit impression.

Close to the airport, convenient. Food was good. I tried the spicy shrimp soup and it had a lot of flavor. Also had some shells still in there, but easy enough to pull them out. Looks like a fun place, pool tables and lots of TVs.

From the silent traveler to all of you. Be well, be safe, be blessed, this is probably one of the best relaxing bar atmosphere family gathering you’ll never come across in the city of Kansas. Our server was young and cheerful full of knowledge. Gave us a lot of good information and great recommendation on food and drinks. My colleagues and I had a blast. The thai chicken pizza is a must try. I do believe you’re going to love it. as long as you’re not allergic to peanut sauce. I’ve had a lot of pizza from different areas but this is one that really tops a lot of the places I’ve been. From the pictures you’ll see the spread of food we had. The drinks were great there is pool table area very relaxing and a good place to have a good time.

Fine dining with a casual bar and grill atmosphere. This place is phenomenal. Kc strip dinners, with loaded baked potato and I had Caesar salad, hubby got grilled veggies. Steak was perfectly cooked, a little bland but put the grilled onions on it and ate with potato it was amazing. You have to check this place out. If you’re anything like me I appreciate a really good steak, but do not like the atmosphere of fine dining.

We visited Saturday night about 8pm. There was plenty of seats available at that time. We were greatest promptly. It’s open seating so we chose a booth.
We both ordered burgers and fries (sidewinder fries). The food came out nice and hot. The meat was cooked through and seasoned well. I asked for bacon on mine and it was done perfectly.
We don’t visit KC enough but when we do, we stay at the Drury Inn that’s across the interstate and we can see the Nick and Nino’s sign from there. We’ve always wanted to stop and I’m glad we did.

Service was great but I would expect that when it wasn’t very busy. My chicken strips were overcooked and I figured that would be the least likely thing to cook wrong. The space inside was cool but the outside bags everywhere to cover up electrical cords is ugly, id suggest fixing that soon. Maybe we were there on an off day because it wasn’t very busy at all for a chiefs game.

It used to be pretty good. Now, the waitresses were more concerned with scrolling on their phones than getting us drinks and menus. The food has also declined. Lots of seating available, pool tables too. We used to go there to watch UFC fights and had a great time.

Taylor is the absolute best!! I come here often just to see her! I came in with a sore throat one day and she gave me a hot drink that absolutely made it feel better. I continue to come here just to see her and Maddie, they make the experience here worth becoming a regular. As a single woman coming to the bar alone they have always made me feel safe and cared for. Definitely a great atmosphere and good food, this is the bar to go to!!

This 5-star review is all about the bartender Taylor. She is what customer service should be. Taylor has a great personality, was attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. It was a slow Wed night during karaoke and we only played a couple games of pool, but I could tell how great she is by my own interaction and the way she dealt with everyone else. Keep her on staff and give her raise. Cheers Taylor.

Great space and conveniently located! Lots of room to hold a lot of people- not one of those small hole in the wall types even though it sorta of looks that way from the outside. You walk in and are wow’d with the space and amount of things to do. Also had great service and everyone agreed the pizza/food was really good.
