I got delivery, I ordered feast for two with the brisket, well worth the cost, brisket was very tender, half chicken was perfect, the ribs very tender and seasoned well. Cornbread muffins was the best I’ve ever had. Potato wedges was great.

During my visit to famous Dave’s, things were just great. From the facility to the food and the attitudes of the worker’s. I really enjoyed being there and I will be returning. The management and staff we’re very cheerful and pleasing. When I’m able I will be visiting again.

Never disappointed. Good service and food. Done in option or take out available. Love the brisket. Catfish can be a bit salty at times but good otherwise. Cornbread muffins are great. It is a little noisy but that is to be expected in a place like this. Ring the bell when you leave.

This place is horrible, I ordered a 3 meat combo (2 servings of brisket and 1 serving of chopped pork) and paid $22 but they only gave me 1 serving of brisket and when I asked, my waiter said that they added 2 servings into 1, but it was clearly just 1. She didn’t even give me any sauce or ask me if I need anything else. She was so rude and mean. The food was very salty. I swear I will not come back to this place anymore. Don’t waste your money at an unworthy restaurant

We arrived at a very slow time (4:15pm ish) of the day to take in the ambiance and give it fair rating. Shannon greeted us and sat us very quickly. We noted there were four other tables. Again, appropriate for the time of day. We waited for ten minutes when Shannon returned apologizing for the server who was assigned to us; then, said she would be our server instead. She took our drink and food as we’d had plenty of time to peruse the menu waiting on the other server. Shannon was nice, and adequate. The decor for Famous Dave’s is great. It really lends itself to a family atmosphere, fun for the kiddos to look at whilst waiting for the food – any parent can tell you the importance of this when taking the family out and wanting just “please a good night out *fingers crossed*” lol. We’ve eaten at Famous Dave’s plenty of times so all of the above is really just reference if you’ve never been. My message to this site’s BOH kitchen management: the reason we deducted a ★ was the over zealous salting of the pulled pork in our pulled pork sandwich. FOH management: although we found Shannon to be friendly and adequate – we wish didn’t have to flag her down for a drink refill. The other situation with the first server, I’m not sure what happened but taking ten minutes to pass us off was a bit long. Maybe it sounds as though I’m too judgemental. I just don’t want what Dave worked so hard to build to slip with laissez faire work ethics.

Was the 1st time my wife and I visited he but I have to say that the food was delicious and the service despite it being lunchtime was fast. Also the restaurant was very clean.

If you want some really rocking BBQ then this is NOT the place for you. The cashier couldn’t even tell us what went on the BBQ nachos, so when there was something on that I couldn’t eat and sent them back she says “well you didn’t specify”. Brittany maybe if you would learn what’s on your product you could avoid this in the future instead of complaining about serving the customer; you should accept it and learn from it.
Now on to the food. The meat on the pork sandwich was cold as was the meat on the nachos. The fries were good, so all in all I feel like I paid $40.00 for chili and a side of fries. So if you really want some kickin’ BBQ head down to 13th ave to spitfires, famous dave’s lost me and now spitfire has me as a customer

Usually my meals here are outstanding however this time something wasn’t quite right. My appetizer came out way too late or my main meal got here way too soon because they were served to me almost simultaneously. The burnt ends were very soft and tasty, I don’t care for the fixin’s that come with the appetizer so I left them. I ordered the full slab with apples and mashed potatoes. The ribs were served warm which is usually way under the temperature that I am used to receiving them. The rest of my meal was served exactly the same, warm. The waitress was attentive but not overly. I was however her only customer so taking care of me and was easy. She never asked me how things were so I never told her and she offered me bread pudding about halfway through my meal. I told her that I would tell her at the end of my meal if I was ready for bread pudding and she came back about three quarters of the way through my meal to ask me again. At that point I just said no. I will definitely be back again in hopes that my meal is as normal as it always is. Great! Generally I give my meals here a four-star but this time three was the best I could give Famous Dave’s.
