Awesome little place for garbage plates. A Rochester specialty if you aren’t aware. That mix of food has no business being as tasty as it is but it’s awesome. Very fast and friendly service. And they’re open til four in the morning. Im not out at those hours any more. Im too old for that but I bet the food tastes even better at that time of the evening

Nick Tahoes is closed Sundays so my phone recommended Mark’s and it was Great!!
I ordered the usual fries and macaroni salad, but I’d switch the fries for Home Fries next time.
Huge portion, so I took half home and it reheated perfectly in the air fryer.

This is a mixed review which is why I gave 3 stars. First combo plate was phenomenal. Great mash of flavors. Meat sauce was great, as was the Mac salad.
3 days later decided to order again. The flavoring is completely off. Meat sauce is somewhat vinegary and Mac salad is very eggy. There is no consistency in product quality.
Also, second time around my order was missing double mac salad. They instead gave me fries.

We came here from Toronto Ontario to try out Marks Garbage plate. Holy smokes it is so good. The atmosphere is also pretty cool! The staff are friendly and the customers are characters lol. It’s known that you’ll see a fight or a domestic and it’s true!!! It was amazing. 8.9/10 recommend

Went there after a Halloween party to get some late night eats. I ordered tender and fries my sister ordered a burger and fries. Our tab was put together then the waiter “split” it after we told her both orders were separate. My sister and I both were overcharged by $2 and some change. We were a little intoxicated so we didn’t think nun of it at the moment but when I woke up and called to ask how much is tender and fries the lady over the phone told me $15. So I guess they’re just overcharging people they think is drunk enough to pay then when I was explaining to her I was overcharged she said “it’s more at night” like what?! Which still doesn’t make sense to me cause I never heard of a restaurant charging more just cause it’s “late” your price is your price. But only reminds me why I never eat here. Literally was our only option at the time though.

This place is a Rochester classic! Stopped in for breakfast and ask them to make me a Texas hot omelette and they were happy to accommodate. You could also think of it perhaps as a breakfast garbage plate? Either way very good and really nice people

I’d suggest spending your money elsewhere. The late hours makes this place pretty appealing until you get the food you spent money on. I am confident that no one there cares about the food customers recieve.
There are definitely better places to get a “Sloppy Plate” from. If one doesn’t one their “hot meat sauce” then you’re stuck with a dry plate of freezer burned fries or home fries made out of tree bark.

Food was terrible. I ordered off the dinner menu. I got the golden brown fried chicken and got French bread as a side. As you can see in the picture, that was NOT fried chicken. It was grilled chicken that may have been thrown in the fryer. My girlfriend got the steak with a tossed salad as a side. We both got our food on the bread as a sandwich, even though the menu said nothing about it being a sandwich. They then forgot my gfs salad, so I had to ask about that. They brought it over and it’s literally just lettuce with 2 tomato slices on top. I ask where my side is (the French bread), and she says the bread on my chicken is the French bread. Yet my gfs steak was also in bread even though she didn’t ask for it, so she got the bread and a salad and I got just the bread. After I brought this up, the waitress did offer to give me another side free of charge, so I got the potato. Came as mashed potato’s with gravy with corn and a cut of steak with mushrooms. The mushrooms were clearly canned, as well as the corn. The steak had no seasoning, the mashed potatos were bland, and the gravy did not taste good. The milkshake was the best part of the meal. Never coming here again, I’m even seeing mixed reviews about the one thing they’re known for: the garbage plate

Ordered a double cheeseburger plate @ 4am and total after taxes came out to $15.00 in 2025, thats a W. Unfortunately, the “home fries” here seem as if they are boiled potatoes rather than fried. Almost as if I was eating potato wedges at a hotel continental breakfast with a mushy consistency rather than golden crispy and fried. Everything else about the plate was fantastic, including the staff’s service. However, the “home fries” need to be made properly because as it currently stands you guys don’t serve home fries.
