Despite the review score, we decided to try this location out. Despite the cold temperature inside the hospitality was warm & welcoming. The food was just as good. My family and I enjoyed our food and our waitress was very attentive to our needs. The wait time for our food wasn’t bad either. I can see us visiting this location again. We are from Michigan and visiting family in the area. This location was closest to our hotel so we stopped for Breakfast on our way to explore the area. We had Kesha T for our waitress and let me just say, she was fantastic. Walking in at first, I believe she was the only one seating people and waiting on them until more staff came in. She was extremely friendly, and smiling the whole time, thanking us for our patience while making sure we had everything we needed. Very attentive to not only our table but the other tables she was waiting on as well. I hope this location realizes what an asset she is, and acknowledges her. I very much appreciate the service we received and we would definitely come back to this location when we’re in the state/area again.

As a costumer, Worst IHOP I’ve been in all Richmond. Staff seems lost most of the time. If you have patience, this restaurant is for you, they take forever to bring the food out, even for a simple breakfast. As a dasher I DO NOT recommend picking up for them unless you wanna wait 20+ minutes to pick up a simple order, I wouldn’t want to imagine how long it’ll take for a more complicated order or a catering order.Manager pretends she’s going to pick up the food in the kitchen and takes another 10 minutes to look for it. I would recommend Cracker Barrel, it’s more authentic, better service, and better food

First time at this location and it didn’t disappoint. Upon entering we were seated right away. Our waitress Veronica greeted us and took our drink orders. I ordered the 2 x2x2 , 2 eggs over medium with hashbrown, pancakes and2 pieces of ham. My mom also had the same. It took a little long to come out but when it did it was delicious. Also I had the new drink strawberry tea. It was very fruity. Bathrooms were clean also. Restaurant was also clean. I definitely will be back again soon

It has been years since we’ve eaten at an Ihop, and this was a truly pleasant experience. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member and seated immediately. Our waiter was prompt, polite and took care of everything we needed very quickly.

Consistently very very very long wait times, you’ll get your food at some point but there’s a 30% chance it’ll be wrong/cold. I’ve had okay experiences here but I’ve watched as other tables request managers and get super annoyed about service. Enter at your own risk but only if you’re really really ready to sacrifice time for pancakes.

The Only Reason I hit 1 star is to Leave a review. However my family came to this location Thanksgiving Day to have breakfast, OMG the server was BRAND NEW didn’t know Anything about how to take Our Orders. Next he didn’t give Us no Napkins ,Silverware Drinks Etc !!!!! We had two LITTERALY keep asking for our drinks, Silverware etc. Food came out COLD UN COOKED my son’s eggs were so HARD they didn’t look real SERIOUSLY, we didn’t get our side dishes that was supposed to come as a MEAL COMBO pancakes were stale like they had been SITTING for HRS they had a tan no joke
My food was COLD ,didn’t get our drinks still, asked server 4 times for my grits , took him 15 mins I said 2 my family it’s time to leave, we lost our appetite LITTERALY!!!!!! LISTEN TO THIS EVERYONE PLEASE PLEASE, I OPENED MY GRITS AND THE GRITS were BLACK AND BROWN like Whattttttt in the World is this ???? This isn’t grits BLACK and BROWN????
Grits are supposed to be WHITE !!!!! I contacted the assistant store Mgr Olivia sent her pictures of our foods especially the BLACK and BROWN GRITS !!!!! she said she was gonna contact her Mgr a few days went by ,nothing another 2 weeks went by Nothing,I literally had to blow her cell phone Up and the store phone to find out what’s going on. Fast forward she gave me the other boss number called him for 2 weeks No Answer!!! Texted him Nothing, he calls back almost 4 weeks later, I’m going contact whomever and get ur Refund . It’s Dec 31st he Won’t answer his phone Nor return my texts calls. If I would’ve Eaten those BLACK and BROWN grits not paying attention, I would’ve probably DIED !!!!! I have contacted the health Dept in regards to this situation. GRITS WERE POISONING from sitting out or whatever!!!!!!! Still No response today Dec 31st the last day of 2025 !!!!! I pray and Hope they are being Clean and throwing Away OLD BLACK and BROWN GRITS Foods etc!!!!! PLEASE PLEASE GO FIND A CLEAN IHOP that doesn’t Give Customers OLD MOLDED FOOD THAT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR HRS !!!!!!!! O STARS !!!!!!! POISONING PEOPLE!!!!!!!

Quickly seated and food was tasty, but staff messed up multiple food orders for our party and had to redo my check 3 times and it still wasn’t right. Seems to be a challenge to bring a large group.

This place is so clean. We were going to eat near Williamsburg, but that place was run down, so we came here. The place was clean, and our server—I think it was Karla, the lady with the turban—was so nice and graceful.
