First time here, I was out of town visitor to California. Pizza was really good. Loved the crust and sauce. The cinnamon knots for dessert were to die for. So many yummy local beers on tap and in bottles. Service was top notch too, friendly and quick staff. Spoke with the new owner, he recently bought this location and renovated it, changed up the menu and crust recipe. One of the only places open late in Santa Rosa as well. I will be back!

Had one great staff member who welcomed us in and helped with most of our order.
However there was a larger more stern fellow who didn’t allow us to wait at the front and rudley told us to seat ourselves first.
My order was also also taken incorrectly and I had to fix it after that fact due to their error.
prices at a bit high and the wait as well. personally not my first choice.
The atmosphere was quite a bit noisy as well
my food was given cold.

NY Pie doesn’t pretend to be New York pizza…..it is New York pizza. The kind that bends without breaking. The kind with a crust that’s chewy, substantial, confident. No limp nonsense. No wine-country “interpretation.” Just authentic, old-school, no-apologies flavor that hits you right in the soul.
And the beer list? Absurd in the best way. A rotating parade of West Coast IPAs that could make a hop head weep. Bonus points (huge ones) for pouring every glass right to the brink like they respect both beer and humanity. That matters.
Now let’s talk wings…..because skipping them would be a personal failure. They don’t beg for attention. They don’t posture. They just quietly sit there being possibly the greatest wings ever to exist. Ignore them at your own peril and lifelong regret.
Shout-out to Sandra, our server. Newbie or not, she’s the living embodiment of the place’s culture—friendly, sharp, genuinely happy to be there. The kind of service that makes you relax your shoulders and order one more round.
The atmosphere feels like the five boroughs somehow snuck into……Sonoma County wine country. You walk in expecting pinot noir and charcuterie and instead you get attitude, energy, and damn good pizza.

I’ve been to NY Pie many times and find the food excellent! The service is also excellent! Wilson one of the managers remembers me by name and treats me like “part of the family”. David who waited on me this evening was also very friendly, acommodating and eager to make me feel at home. I highly recommend this venue if you enjoy good pizza and service.

This place delivers on every level. The pizza tastes excellent with a crust that has great bite and flavor. The sauce comes through fresh and well balanced. The cinnamon knots stand out as a must order dessert. Soft, warm, and full of flavor. The beer list features a strong lineup of local options on tap and in bottles. Service moves quickly and the staff stays welcoming. I had a chance to talk with the new owner who recently took over this location. He renovated the space, updated the menu, and reworked the crust recipe. The improvements show. Late hours also set this place apart in Santa Rosa. I plan to return again soon.

The only reason they don’t get perfect ratings is that they do not have a way to customize pizza on their website. i called in to place the order and was told i MUST order on line for deliveries. I told that person their was no “customize” button online. He got on line as well and agreed there wasn’t and spent about 10 minutes trying to help. Finally he said to place an order and when it came up in the que, he would tell the cooks what i really wanted. i’ve been in the restaurant business and didn’t see how this would work but agreed as i had always liked their pizzas in the past before the changes. sure enough, it didn’t work and i got a call from someone about 30 minutes before delivery date. i had called back and was told the order could not be seen until 30 minutes before delivery. sure enough, the new caller at least knew this was not the pizza of choice and i then told him what was wanted. it arrived on time and was very good, slightly soft in the middle, probably from rushing but the person who returned my call was great and so was most of the pizza, so if they get a customized button online, i may reorder.
