Buzzy upstairs eatery serves Asian dishes spiced-to-order in loftlike digs lined with Eastern art.

We had an awesome experience at Indochine. We tried the Thai Beef Flank the flavor was good, but just know it’s more of a stew-style beef. The Chicken Satay was excellent and the Nigori sake was amazing.
The ambience really makes the place. You walk up to the second floor and the décor is super well done tight, warm, and feels authentically Asian. Really cool vibe overall.
We’ll definitely be back!

Pretty bland yellow curry. On Google, they advertised sushi, but there was no sushi on Thursday. Service was amazing atmosphere is fantastic. If you are a foodie, the curry will be super bland for you. In all fairness, you can add HEAT in terms of spice, but that will not add flavor.

First time here and it was a very calm and relaxing time to go for dinner at 8pm. Our waiters was very helpful and attentive. Cocktails, appetizers and entrees were very delicious and I plan on visiting again when in the area. It is located upstairs, but there is an elevator if you can’t do the stairs and parking is difficult being in the downtown area but overall, a very good spot to eat and enjoy some good food.

We had a nice dinner here before a show at the Times Union Center. No one was at the front when we entered but we were seated within a few minutes. The staff were attentive and we enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The spice level ranges from 1 to 6. We ordered 4 and it was pretty spicy – much more than would usually be expected. Next time we agreed we will try 5!
You pick your dish (yellow curry or stir fry or whatever) and then your protein. We enjoyed our experience and our meal.

Indochine Downtown on Adams Street in Jacksonville is a wonderful Thai and Southeast Asia restaurant with some of the best such meals you’ll find anywhere. From the entranceway, up the stairs, and all the way to your seat, this place is absolutely gorgeous with authentic Eastern decor and a buzzing atmosphere to go with it. Over two days, every server I encountered, including the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The meals were amazing, with spice level to order (1-6). On day one I had Thai Chicken Bites to start followed by Duck Curry at level 4. The Bites are in the form of meatballs and are served on a skewer. They are likely level 1 and most certainly very tasty. The Duck practically melts in your mouth, and all these amazing flavors come at you in every bite. On day two I started with deliciously healthy Summer Rolls, and followed that up with the Cashew Wok Dish (4); another excellent and tasty meal. My server introduced me to a spicy Lao dipping sauce called Jeow Som. You can dip or pour with just about anything; I poured mine over rice with Soy Sauce. A little goes a long way, and wow, it is fantastic. There is a full bar, with beer on tap, and the drinks are excellent. It truly is nice here; classy and elegant. Highly recommended.

Ordered 2 sets of drunken noodles, never have I seen drunken noodles that look like this, very bland, noodles undercooked. Just google drunken noodles and compare the look. Should’ve stuck with my usual place. Supremely dissatisfied

I visited during happy hour, when I first arrived at the restaurant it took about 5 to 10 minutes for me to be seated, as there was no hostess at the front door. Once I walk towards the bar, I was greeted and they apologize for the delay and I was seated quickly.
I decided to try the wings, pad Thai, and fried dumplings. The wings were fried crispy, they were OK the sauce on top of it was good.
The steak in the pad Thai was tough for my liking, the shrimp were OK as they had the tails on them still and the sauce on the pad Thai was a little too sweet for my liking. The fried dumplings were pretty good as I really enjoyed the sauce that came with the dumplings.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is very inviting. This would be perfect for a girls night out or a date night.

Fantastic service and generous portions! Despite the rising cost of seafood, the jumbo shrimp in the fried rice were impressive. Every dish is packed with rich flavors, and it’s one of the few places where the spring rolls actually come with fresh mint. The interior is really interesting, set in a historic building, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal and admire the decor. Excellent value for delicious food and a beautiful setting!

We enjoyed our meals at Indochine. The service was wonderful. Food was perfectly spiced and tons of meat (more than usual for sure). Parking was a pain. Indochine does not validate, even though the sign says they do.

This hidden gem is upstairs and out of the way. We had amazing service from start to finish (thanks Alex!) The food isn’t completely authentic, but it is flavorful and the portion sizes are fair for the price. If you like spicy food I suggest you go for 4 or 5 on the spice level. I also recommend the Angel Wings- they were amazing! Overall would recommend
