I am writing because I am honestly disgusted by the way I was treated during my most recent visit to this Chick-fil-A location.
I consistently order the same thing: a Southwest Salad with no tomatoes and add egg. Almost every time I come here, bacon is added to my salad. I do not eat pork, and this is a repeated issue. I come to this location often because it is close to my job and I work six days a week, so this is not a one-time mistake it happens over and over again. At this point, I expect my order to be wrong.
What made this visit unacceptable was the way the situation was handled. When I returned to the store, I spoke with the manager on duty, Lily. Instead of apologizing or simply fixing the mistake, I was met with a rude and confrontational attitude. She questioned me about how the salad is made and what ingredients go into it, as if that was somehow my responsibility. I don’t work there, I’m the customer. I should not have to explain how your menu items are prepared in order to get my food made correctly.
I am a manager myself at a nearby fast-food business, and I was shocked by this level of unprofessionalism. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled was completely unacceptable. There was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to de-escalate the situation. Instead, I felt dismissed and blamed for something that has been a recurring error on your end. In the past, I’ve also felt like staff didn’t listen to me or believe me when I pointed out that there was bacon in my salad.
This experience left me upset and frustrated, and it has completely changed how I feel about coming to this location. No customer should be treated this way for simply asking that their food be made correctly, especially when dietary restrictions are involved. I hope this is taken seriously and addressed, because this kind of behavior should not be happening.
I had a mishap with an order some time ago, thankfully I was still close so I decided to give them a call and report my concern and issue. They offered without question to replace my food immediately and to come in so they can take care of it. They also were greatly generous to ask if I would like anything else on top of the full replacement, it was very very kind to do in this situation.
I had provided them with a well detailed understanding of my concern to prevent any further concerns from any other customers for that time. I am so thankful for everyone who puts there heart and best intention into something as simple as greeting and tending to a customer how they do. Keep it going
