We are new to the area and La Tolteca has quickly become our go to Mexican spot. Service is incredibly fast and the food is always fresh and delicious. Pictures are of their queso birria tacos which are always FANTASTIC. Highly recommend this establishment.

As a Mexican I can say that the food is ok, its edible. Unfortunately the ground beef is very taco bell flavor, and most meals are covered in cheese. Oh and the poblano peppers weren’t poblano peppers…They charge almost 3 dollars for a small salsa that does not cost nearly as much to make, expensive and not worth the price. I definitely enjoyed the service, our waitress was nice and brought everything we needed.
I wont be coming back and make the drive to banditos or even better supermercado campos.

Stop if you’rw driving by! The amount of food they served per platter is staggering! It is pretty good Mexican food for the East coast, so I was quite happy with it. Ther service was good, and I never really waited too long for anything. They were a little slow when I got there, so I was the only customer around. Overall, it is well worth the price.

I wish they had less than 1 star option. Terrible dry food. Awful Margheritas. Service sucks. Only offered one portion of nachos for 17$ with hardly any chips. Had to ask for a refill on a soft drink many times with no reply. Asked for a to go box and south no response. Good luck everyone. Never going back!

First time visiting La Tolteca and definitely not the last. The atmosphere is lively and inviting. The staff is super friendly and outgoing from the second you enter the restaurant to the moment you leave.
The food is absolutely delicious. The hardest part about visiting is deciding what to get. The portions are large so make sure you bring your appetite. I highly recommend the jalapeño poppers. The grilled shrimp burrito is humongous and filled with big shrimp as is the grilled shrimp quesadilla. The Beef Steak Ranchero is a very big dish! All of our food was perfectly prepared and hot.
Our server was on point we never had to ask for anything. You have to visitvthe Joppa, Maryland location you will not be disappointed!

My family selected LA Tolteca as our Sunday night dinner option. We were not disappointed! We arrived around 5pm and were seated immediately. It was fairly empty.
We all ordered something different so that we could eat off of one another’s plate. The food came out piping hot in less than 10 minutes and it was ridiculously delicious!! The staff was friendly and welcoming. The restaurant to include the bathrooms were very clean.
