I’ve been coming to the windmill ever since I was a little kid. It’s never lost its heart. I took my girlfriend there for her first time a few months back. But these photos were just from 2 weeks ago when we went out for breakfast and took my two younger brothers as well. The food is always good and they always treat you very kindly. Inflation ofc always puts a damper on things but honestly the windmill is still reasonably priced!

I had the Eggs Cordon bleu and it was so delicious and filling. Very good energy and vibe the place. The waiter made a suggestion about the dish and they were right. They also welcomed me which made me feel at home.

This a very average diner. Our waitress was nice but not very attentive. Our hamburger sub was just average. The French fries were pretty rubbery. It was an okay place to eat but I wouldn’t drive out of my way to eat here. I would stop in if I were in the area. I also felt that our meals were a bit expensive. We averaged $18.00 per person and one person only had a bolt of corn soup.

Very cute & cozy – kinda old timey-town feels with a really friendly staff and great food. My husband got a chicken burger with bacon and said it was delicious, leaving no left overs. I got the Western omelette with hash browns & rye toast, it was 10/10. One rec I have is eating the hash browns and omelette simultaneously for flavor.
The coffee was amazing,, my husband said so probably 10 times lol. We were so bummed that we didn’t have room for desert but will definitely be returning!

We go past this place often and finally stopped in. First impressions were, the place is extremely dated and in need of repairs. The restrooms were extremely dirty. The only bright spot was the waitress was very good and attentive to our needs. The food was just so so. If you are looking for a family oriented place with just average food, try it. If, however, your looking for an upscale place with great food, go elseshere

I had the Triple Grilled Cheese sandwhich with fries. It tasted amazing. The grilled cheese was delicious and I could not stop eating the fries. Our server was extremely friendly and service was quick.

The food is really good but I want to relax and enjoy my food not see the news all around me on large TVs. Where is the holiday music or shows, even sports would be preferable to listening to depressing news. Dining out is expensive. I get my food to go to avoid dining in. Shame because it would be nice to have a nice atmosphere.

We recently moved to the area and ate at this restaurant for the first and only time. We were sat in the 2nd room in the restaurant. When we walked into the room the carpet smelled so bad I wanted to puke. I was not going to say anything because we were with a group of people and I didn’t want to make a fuss but it was horrible. I hardly ate anything because of the smell of the carpeting. Also our table was sticky and we asked the young man if he could wipe it off. He went and got a damp towel but on his way to our table he sneezed in his hand and then put the towel in that hand and wiped our table off. For me that was it and we will not be back there.

This place has seen better days. I’m giving the food three stars. I ordered a turkey sandwich, it was fine, and as ordered. However, the potpie my husband ordered was less than good. Advertised as Pennsylvania Dutch style ( the kind we prefer ) it was not. He received a bowl of watery chicken broth with vegetables, what looked like the dry pot pie squares you buy in the grocery store, and a chicken thigh, floating in the middle of it. And the price tag of almost 20$! Twenty dollars for pot pie is ridiculous, I make it myself and I know how much it costs to make. This was a clear weak broth with stuff floating in it, not even close to a good pot pie. I understand that prices are up everywhere, but that is ridiculous.
The building itself is very worn. The bathrooms were not great and only one sink worked.
I gave four stars for the service. We were seated very quickly, even though they had received quite a few larger tables just ahead of us. We received our drinks quickly, and waitstaff was generally very attentive and made sure we had drinks or whatever we needed.
We are through that way quite often, however, we will not be stopping again. I felt the menu prices were ridiculous for the caliber of restaurant that it is.
