Nice place with cheap beers, 3 dollar long necks and half price appetizers 2-5pm.
I only tried the spinach artichoke dip with pita bread, all made in house and delicious.
Im looking forward to coming back and tryin more of the menu.

My husband and I come to 78 at Lava Hot Springs about 2–3 times a year, and it never disappoints. We absolutely love this spot. Rebecca is always so helpful and sweet—she truly made our morning and made us feel so welcome. We had a lovely meal, great service, and an all-around wonderful experience. It’s been really nice to watch this place grow and evolve over time. We’ll definitely keep coming back!

American food with a few unique creations. The staff were super friendly and the place was packed with people. I’m sure this place stays busy during peak times for Lava Hot Springs. The prices were fair for the area. Unfortunately, the food was incredibly average and parts of my meal were cold (on both times that I ordered here). I can’t say I tried a whole lot of the menu as I stuck with burgers and fries. Definitely something I would order over any fast food burger joints within the area, especially if they ensure that the meal is warm/hot.

My food was cold, plus the steak was well done, and not medium rare like requesed, and my wife’s food came out with a hair. A pain maybe, but not anything horrible. Then, they never brought her plate back out. We waited TWO HOURS! Apparently they had run out of pasta and had not made us aware. We were refunded in the end, but WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This place has such great food—it’s the perfect brunch spot when you’re hanging out in Lava for the weekend. Everything we had was delicious, and the vibe was just right for a relaxed morning. Rebecca, our server, was absolutely fantastic—so sweet and had us laughing all morning. What a wonderful person. She seriously deserves a raise!

Inviting staff! We ate here simply because of how friendly the staff was. They made our large group feel welcome and provided a great atmosphere as we were there. Hamburgers were great the French dip sliders were amazing and kids loved the Mac and cheese.

Stopped in here on way home from the tetons. Food was excellent! The Reuben was one of the best I’ve had and my hubby thought the fish chips were great! The Pastrami was really thin sliced which I love. The sweet potato fries and Tots were perfectly crispy and not greasy at all. Heidi our server was very friendly and master sure we had everything we needed. Perfect spot for a great meal in Lava.

Went there in the morning for some breakfast. We had a group of 6 so the automatic gratuity kinda sucked considering the lady was rude. There was also a large family of all adults being crazy stupid loud which was super annoying. The kept banging their feet the tables and literally screaming. My son and I dont handle loud noises very well so he ended up not even eating his breakfast. I have to wear a brace for my broken spine and the annoying family stomping and jumping was actually causing physical pain and not just spiking my anxiety.
The food was delicious. The eggs perfect hashbrowns weren’t swimming in oil and the steak cooked perfect.
Would only go back to get a meal to go because that was the only thing that was amazing with this place. I always tip but I really dont believe she deserved that much for a tip considering how many times we had to ask for things.
Oh and the worst thing was i needed the restroom and there was no toilet paper. Again broken back so I had to open the door and ask my boyfriend to ask for help. They gave him the key and roll to replace it himself. Bless his heart for helping me out but seriously how in the world do you not know that the one singular bathroom ran out of toilet paper.

Ate breakfast here, it was great. Sadie was awesome. Food was HOT and tasted great, esp the potatoes. Booths are a little too close, and there was really cold air blowing on us from underneath, but, still five stars!!

Waiter was nice and friendly. My husband and I ordered the fish & chips & beast burger with onion rings. We did have to wait awhile. However, the power went out for a quick minute while we were there so not sure how much that played a part in it. The portions were decent. The Food was ok… my vegetables for my burger looked like they had previously been frozen. The fries weren’t crispy and the food tasted oily. Overall it was palatable but not great.
