Chips and salsa were very good. Service was good. Food was not great.
I ordered Chile Rellenos and my wife got chicken, steak, and rice with extra tortillas for our son to eat with her. We ordered a small Guacamole. The guac was dull in color and was subpar. It needed more seasoning and like juice. The rice and beans were the same way in that they desperately needed seasoning. After adding salt and pepper from the table it was better. My wife’s dish was good. Seasoning on the steak and chicken was okay and very similar to a traditional Taco seasoning you purchase in a pack from the grocery store, but it was better than the other items listed above. The chille Rellenos were awful. This is a pretty standard dish for me at Mexican establishments. I would not recommend to anyone sadly. We received our food roughly 5 mins after ordering which was impressive but that should have been a red flag.
We sat down at 6p on a Saturday. There were 3 tables inside that had patrons and never more than 5 tables over the hour we were onsite.
When the ChileRellenos arrived I ate the rice and beans first like I always do because I assumed the chilies were going to be too hot to enjoy. After cutting into the first piece of Chile there was no cheese running out. After a few more cuts it was obvious the cheese that was in there was barely warm and was not melted at all. It also became apparent that parts of the breading were incredibly thick and unsavory. Pictures tell the story. I took a few bites of the 2nd Chile to find the same thing.

The Cabot location was always great 10/10. This location is disappointing at best, and it shouldn’t be a surprise why the restaurant was not even remotely busy. The staff members seated around the central round table did not seem overly interested in the customer experience. The server we had was nice and accommodating. She was tipped regardless of the poor kitchen service and recipes.

We will stick to Cinco De Mayo for our local Mexican food.

I ordered and got my burrito supreme in less than 5 min. The chips and salsa were extra crunchy and delicous. They had a spicier choice of salsa for the chips, just ask AND they had a good salsa. The beer was cold and frothy, perfect. The food was hot and fast, perfect. The resturant was clean and comfortable, perfect.

Family of 5 kids meal chicken and rice dinner was to spicy for kids had to end up getting them the pizza when we asked for pizza it was brought out under 5 mins with how it felt it had to of been warmed up in microwave it was soft but tough like hard to chew after a few mins from getting it my daughter couldn’t hardly pull it apart. Went to cashier and the guy had several and I mean several hickies on his neck and I just feel like with how quick we got our food it wasn’t freshly cooked my meat was tough the rice looked prepackaged we won’t go back!

Good food and fast service. Place has very good vibe. Chips and salsa were very fresh and yummy. Their rice had so much flavour which was good but it was so mashed, can improve that. Quesadilla was yummy.

Great food and nice service! It only took a few moments to be seated even though they were short-staffed. I love supporting local businesses and this is one of my favorites in the area! I dined in and ordered a meal to go! My dine in meal was so good! The attached photo doesn’t compare how delicious it was!! Very good!

Food was so so. My tacos were soggy before I finished the second one. Salsa was good, cheese dip was ok. Servers aren’t very friendly, but attentive.

Thanks Blanca for the great service. I appreciate you and establishment so much because of the authentically marinated meat and great sopapillas with whip cream. I had gotten the Carne Asada tacos. I love how the onions in the cilantro was on the side so people could customize her own season. There is a sorbet with the sopapillas.

Oh my God I forgot about the huge margarita that I got; so worth it!

Stopped on our way back to Austin, tx from Chicago. Food and service was horrible! Wish i could give a negative 5. I ordered charro beans and they brought me pinto beans. Told the waiter and he seemed upset at us. He said well we don’t have any other type of beans so you don’t have to eat them if you don’t want to. I ordered flour tortillas and we got corn. Again told the waiter and he brings me a foil with two cold flour tortillas. The foil was dirty like he dropped it in something. The guac was not fresh. My husband ordered a piece of carne asada with enchiladas and he got two cold enchiladas with hot meat on the side that was super tough. Again told the waiter if he could warm up the enchiladas and he shook his head and walked off. 10 minutes later and he still had not come back. He was on the other side of the restaurant ignoring us. Kids ate half of their taquitos and queso before we just got up and went the register to pay for half an order of taquitos and queso. The waiter comes running up and tells the cashier something and the cashier tells us we don’t have to pay so we left. If only he ran to make sure our food was right the first time. No apology no nothing. After waiting an hour save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.
