Friendly locals diner with great food and superb service. Mary our rock star waitress was very accommodating and efficient. Food came out quickly even though the place was packed for breakfast. Coffee was good and refilled often. Food was tasty. Burrito was the best dish of the four. You need 3x t shirts. Big guys eat too!

I’ve been going to this place for over 10 years and initially, the food was great! But over the past couple years and certainly since opening their location in Gulf Shores, the food quality has become very bad. I ordered a pick up meal several months ago and when I arrived home and opened the box, I knew that the food was not eatable. I just brushed it off as a one time bad experience. However, I ordered a pick order months later and got the same poor food. I will not go back here until something changes. Burt Okra, burned gravy and dry ham.

Duck’s Diner is our new favorite breakfast spot in Orange Beach. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Add in a kind and informative sever and it made for a great breakfast. This will be a regular spot when we are in Orange Beach.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast and ordered the western omelet with hashbrown casserole and a biscuit. It was all delicious! The server quickly took the order and get glasses full. They had helpers who brought out the food quickly. It was a lovely place with a nice energetic vibe. Will enjoy coming back again!

Really nice place to stop for breakfast I had a BLT on sourdough and it really hit the spot. My husband had the banana stuffed French toast pictured below. Gives a mom and pop kind of feel.

My wife and girls wanted to try out something new, we drove 30 minutes from the west side of Foley here and ended up waiting 30 minutes on a Sunday around 10am…. BUT IT WAS WORTH IT!! Ended up being lunch time and we were able to get the meat, 2 sides, sweet tea, and cornbread lunch deal for only $8.95…. My girls got the kids meals which were only $6 a piece… when is the last you fed a family for 4 at an amazing restaurant for lunch around Orange Beach $32 plus tip? The kids chicken tenders and tater tots were solid with an abundance of tots, my other girl got the grilled cheese and fries with an abundance of fries… both of them could not finish the sides!! I got the grilled pork chop with Mac and cheese and cornbread, 5+ stars on all items, my wife got country fried steak, purple hill peas, sliced avacado, jalapeño cornbread, and also loved it!! Highly recommend!!

In town for vacation and was looking for good breakfast places. Came across this place and glad we did. I was sold at the mimosas!! They know how to make a mimosa, less orange juice and more champagne!! Loved it. The food was good and service was great. Good location (not far from the beach). I enjoyed it and I do recommend.

Last morning at the beach, fam wanted to do brunch before we rolled out and Duck’s wound up being the call.

Somewhat surprisingly, this was the only spot we had any meaningful trouble getting into all weekend; there was a 25 minute wait at around 11 AM on a Sunday. There’s seating outside and a nice loud speaker so no worries about missing your name being called.

They were true to form with the wait time, though (right at 25 min) and eventually we got all 9 of us seated. It’s a little cramped inside and can get quite loud but the decorations are fun and kitschy. The highlight of the experience for me was the service; everyone we interacted with was incredibly pleasant and working hard and very efficiently.

I ordered a breakfast platter that came with eggs, hash browns, bacon and a piece of French toast. Hubs got something somewhat similar — don’t remember what — but sans French toast/pancake/waffle. I think my mother in law got chicken and waffles and my father in law got some type of steak or pork chop sandwich. That stands out because whatever it was he said he rarely saw it on menus despite loving it. I don’t recall what the rest of the group got other than Sis-in-law and baby cousin got some kind of fancy cold brew drink and liked it.

The food was fine but I thought mostly unremarkable. The sweet tea was good. My eggs were cooked nicely but my husband’s were veryyyy oily and he didn’t care for them at all. My bacon was fine but a little underdone for my preferences. I did enjoy my hash browns; nice and super crispy the way I like them. I added bananas to my French toast and really wish I hadn’t. The bananas were some of the most unripe bananas I’ve ever eaten in my law — hard, bland, almost sour. I scraped them off and just enjoyed the French toast instead.

Overall, no huge complaints, but nothing to sing to the skies about either. Pleasant family atmosphere and simple, familiar food; the service was the best part for me! Not a bad option but wouldn’t necessarily be my first choice in the future.

First time dining here and oh my gosh!! A fun, casual atmosphere, the friendly and prompt service (thank you, Amanda), and the food is amazing! Here on vacation but flooded with locals, it’s clear this is one of OB favorite breakfast spots! Don’t miss it! Just look at the Berry Biscuits below!!
