New Year’s Eve
Our waitress was lovely and very attentive. Starter grapes were a nice touch. Lobster ravioli was delicious but the serving dish was massive for only a serving of 3 pieces. At least 5-7 raviolis would have been a better amount. Appetizer was delicious, but some more pizza/toast/crackers for all of the cheese would have been much appreciated. Shrimp pizza + dessert 10/10.
Important note: the online reservation gave the option for fixed multi course or regular menu. We selected regular menu as $75 was steep for our budget, and there were items on the regular menu we’ve had before and really enjoyed. When we were seated we were notified that it was fixed menu only – disappointed to have been misinformed like that. Two tables left due to this fact. We are glad we stayed, but the notes above would have made us feel like the $ amount were much more worth our while. Thanks.

We visited last night with our besties and had a fantastic dinner. I had the pasta special and was so glad I did… Butternut squash ravioli with a red wine reduction marinara with mushrooms… omg, delicious!! Everyone else had pizza and each loved it. Joe’s never disappoints!

We visited Joe’s Kitchen Almonte this summer, and after coming here from Italy, I have to say this place truly deserves a lot of praise. We tried the authentic Roman pinsa, the bruschetta, their fresh pasta which changes daily based on their specials, and the tiramisu. Everything was absolutely amazing. On top of that, the view makes the whole experience even more excellent. This place is an absolute must-try — I can’t wait to go back!

Came here for Valentine’s Day with my fiancé and everything was delicious! Service was great, food was great, and also beautiful, cozy atmosphere. Will definitely be coming again for some delicious Italian food 🙂 Pricing was also very reasonable!

I went there for lunch with friends, the atmosphere was amazing, you feel as if you’re at home when you enter the place, with the smell of the freshly cooked food, and the nicely presented plates, the minestrone soup wasn’t the typical one but it tasted good.

Every time we visit this charming little town, we have to stop at Joe’s Italian Kitchen. It’s become our tradition — amazing food with the most beautiful view of the waterfall. The restaurant is set in an old mill building, and between the cozy atmosphere and the sound of rushing water outside, it’s honestly magical.
Now, let’s talk about the food — their pinsa is absolutely incredible! The crust is light and airy inside, perfectly crisp outside, and the toppings are full of flavour. We’ve tried pizza and pinsa in lots of places, but nothing compares to this.
I’m obsessed with their bruschetta with tomatoes and basil — it’s so simple, but unbelievably fresh and tasty. And the baked olives? Game changer. Who knew something so small could be that good?
If you’re in Almonte, don’t miss Joe’s. Or better yet — make the trip just for it, like we do

We stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering around. It is just stunning! I can’t wait to go again for drinks. We all felt like we were in a scene from a Hallmark movie!!! ❤️

Disappointing. My partner and I have always wanted to come here, and with the view and ratings who would assume anything but a good time. Sadly, our experience was nothing but disappointment. The food was mediocre at best. The seafood linguine was both bland, spicy and drowning in oil. Our pizza was okay, cheese hardly melted and pineapples hard and dry, but far from bad. The bruschetta overflowing with tomatoes and balsamic, and the ice tea was very watered down. For a restaurant at this price range we expected quality, not a pool of oil. Sandwiches were not available at all.
Sure it is one of the coldest days of the year, so I won’t complain about the coolness of the place, the basement was beautiful and I’m sure the falls are nice in the summer, the place is historical afterall. The tables were definitely too close for comfort and too small, we felt like we’re squeezing ourselves in otherwise plates and cups would fall off.

Beautiful Italian restaurant nestled in the middle of Almonte! The charm of this old building is mesmerizing everywhere you look. The ambiance leaves you with an experience you are going to remember.
Now to talk about the food. Everything is made on-site and oh so fresh. Not sure what is the most popular menu item but let me tell you everything we ordered warranted to be the best thing on the menu.
This will definitely be a stop place for sure. Be sure to check the sight as it is next to a beautiful waterfall. If you come during meals I would recommend making reservations!

Always wanted to come here. First encountered Joe’s when they were at Kin Vineyards. Visited on a Sunday afternoon with reservations (highly recommended). Great service and difficult to make a food selection because everything is so good. You will not be disappointed.
