Reviews
I stopped by here on a Wednesday night around 6:45 PM and was pleasantly surprised by how easy parking was. If you’re looking for a solid Korean meal with generous portions, this is a great choice.
The Food: As a vegetarian, I really appreciated how accommodating they were. I ordered:
• Japchae: Requested it with no mushrooms, and they executed it perfectly.
• Tofu Dumpling Soup: Very flavorful and satisfying.
• Banchan: They serve a huge variety of complimentary side dishes, which is always the mark of a great Korean restaurant!
The portion sizes are big, so you definitely get your money’s worth. Everything tasted “good very great”—very fresh and authentic.
The Service & Atmosphere: The only downside was the service pacing. Even though the restaurant wasn’t full and there were plenty of free tables, the staff brought the check while we were still eating. It felt a bit rushed, which was unnecessary given the empty seating. Also it’s a bit loud talking everywhere around.
Overall: Delicious food and easy logistics, just be prepared for a slightly hurried exit!
The broth is so deep, savory and flavorful that you can taste it in the tofu, which soaks up the seasoning beautifully. Also, I could taste that they might season their mushrooms and beef before boiling it in the soup. These are small details that make this place really special.
It’s super busy on a Sunday afternoon but one server still managed to ask if we wanted refills on banchan. I didn’t expect that so that was nice!
Side dishes were delicious and free flow. Main dishes tasted even better!! We had the chicken bulgogi (they only served dinner size on weekends) and it is huge. Value for money for sure! We also had seafood tofu soup and it tasted really good. Even with the tips, the price point for the food is still very worth it. And if you can’t finish it, remember to ask for packing boxes. Folks are efficient and friendly! They are always checking if we need to top up our side dishes. I am definitely going back there again each time I have cravings!
It seems pretty authentic (coming from a non Korean). Food is good, especially the seafood pancakes and the galbi. Definitely would want more of those. Serving size is pretty large too.
Overall good stuff and very solid Korean restaurant!
[Delivery] The pork is good. Tofu soup is smaller than I expected.
