We’ve been coming here for years (used to live here full time) and it was always reliable.
We’ve not been at our CL home for a while and decided to order from our favorite place. It must’ve switched owners or something, not only was our order completely wrong (literally every single order was wrong) but even though we ordered ahead and our order showed completed by 15mins, we had to wait until everyone else was served to get our food.
On top of that the buns are no longer toasted and the food was bland.
We will go back to Jay and Diane’s horseshoe grill for burgers from here on out.

Canyon City Grill is one of my favorite spots in town! The hamburgers are always cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and made just right. The fried catfish is another must-try, crispy on the outside and tender inside. On top of the great food, the customer service is top-notch. Tina and the whole crew always make you feel welcome and take great care of everyone. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

During our visit to Canyon Lake area we ate here at the Canyon City Grill. We had a hamburger chicken burger onion rings and tots. Everything was so delicious fresh and came out hot. The lady working window was friendly. The day was cold drizzly and chilly so we took the food back to our room. The place has a nice outside area with a little play area for children. I can see this place being a really nice place to relax on a nice sunny day. When visiting in the area we will come back here. They do make things to order so there was a small wait just an fyi for those that might be on a time crunch.

Canyon City Grill is an amazing place to grab a delicious stuffed potato or their pulled pork sandwich slider! The staff is super sweet and on point with getting your order correct and ready for you to pick it up. I love how you can order online and receive a text when it’s ready for pick up. Fast , affordable, and easy!! FOOD IS ALWAYS AWESOME!!

Great burger spot at Canyon Lake. Lots of different options to choose from for people with different dietary needs. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and it was delicious. I liked their tater tots over their wedge fries. Lots of seating, all outdoors, with lots of room for people to play and a kids playground. The wait can be long, but it’s well worth it. Would definitely go again if I was in the area!

It seems the kitchen’s incompetence and inability to read instructions is well documented. This establishment managed to just ignore everything we asked for and it made it their way. Basically the opposite of Burger King.
Forgot the ketchup under special instructions.
Forgot two sides of cheese we paid for.
Forgot the jalapenos on the burger I paid for.
Mind you this was using their preferred ordering platform.
Then you check other reviews and this place has a history of messing up orders.

Corner shack local burger grill. Lots of options, like fried pork skins and fried mushrooms. Everything was spot on, on time, and fresh. Ordered online for lunch on a Saturday. PRO TIPS:
– Only seating is outside, with a few seats in a open air patio. Best to grab it to go.
– Lots of customization options. Like I got the double cheeseburger and subbed toast for bun, cooked onions for raw, and cheddar instead of american.
– Ordering online was actually useful, and all the customization options were still available.
One suggestion for the business: Slice the mushrooms at least in halves before frying. Whole mushroom was too much in a bite and scalding hot juice comes squirting out onto your face and hands.
