If I could leave zero stars I would. Ordered the Mrs R’s French toast on DoorDash. It’s supposed to be marscapone filled French toast with strawberries and chocolate syrup. I got soggy bread that looks like garlic bread put onto a panini press with NONE of the ingredients of the item I actually ordered. So DoorDash offered to have it redelivered, no big deal, mistakes happen. But no, THEY SENT THE EXACT SAME THING. TWICE. Oh, and they also both had OPEN cups of melted butter that of course didn’t stay in the cups, so that’s nice. I included photos of both orders, and the menu photo of what I ordered. If you don’t have the item available at all, wouldn’t you communicate that? Especially after seeing that you had to remake it for the same person? So now it’s been over an hour and a half and I still have no dinner because this doesn’t even look edible to me (the pool of butter doesn’t help). It doesn’t look or smell like French toast ♀️

I had a great time here yesterday with my husband, Debbie was absolutely amazing. She made me feel so heard and we had great conversations while there. The food was pretty good, enjoyed the steaks. The French onion soup was delicious, I honestly recommend if you ever want a warm place to have a meal. Thank you again Debbie, you are amazing!

I was very surprised, but we had a good experience here today for breakfast. Even though this establishment is very close to our home, located off a busy Route 46 East in Elmwood Park, past experiences and the fact that we never saw the parking lot too crowded had us staying away from Parkway Diner. Upon entering, we were greeted by the staff and were seated right away in the dining room to the left of the entrance. The food is standard diner food, with a good selection on the menu. We decided on the waffle tower (layers of French toast and waffle quarters with banana, strawberries, and walnuts topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup) and 2 eggs scrambled with turkey sausage, accompanied by crispy home fries and wheat butter toast. The service was good, but the food was even better with huge portions. The prices were very typical of what you will find now at any diner in the area. This place is as solid as any neighborhood diner. Go and give it a try.

We came for breakfast with my sister and to be brutally honest this might be the best diner we’ve ever visited.Food was amaising and the drinks were great too,portions were big and overall very delicious.The waitress was amaizing and the place has a cool 80’s vintage vibe to it.Rare to see such gret diners meaning good food,brilliant atmosphere and amaizing staff and to have nothing bad to say.MUST VISIT!!!

Came here on Christmas day for a very late breakfast/lunch. Before heading there, we looked at the reviews and were a little concerned to go since some reviews mentioned that their prices were pretty high. We took a chance anyway since the places that we usually go to were closed.
The service was OK but the food was even better. The prices are very typical to what you will find now in any diner in the area and they have a good variety of options for any palette. The coffee was good and strong. Not watered down in any way which is a big plus.
We ordered, pancakes to share, Eggs Benedict, and a Hickory burger with curly fries. The pancakes were nice and fluffy. The Eggs Benedict was good. They were not the best, but it did not disappoint. The burger was delicious. I appreciated the canadian bacon. The lettuce was nice and fresh. In all we had a pleasant meal at a decent price. We would definitely come back to explore different menu options.

I absolutely loved coming here to eat with my family it was so much fun. The service was amazing our server his name is Angel. He was so delightful. He made sure we had everything we needed and accommodated us nicely. Definitely will return.

I’ve only been to the Parkway Diner once and my experience was very good. They serve their food up fast and fresh and hot. Would highly recommend this diner for someone that’s looking for a good place to eat in New Jersey especially since it’s open 24/7 in… Jersey is known for its diners and this one is awesome.

genuinely word do not describe how terrible my experience was. it took and hour for the food to come out and a 30 to even be talked to. server was very slow. ordered pancakes, given no syrup or butter that was mentioned to come with the meal. none of my party was even given silverware or napkins.
