This experience was absolutely infuriating and completely unacceptable. The level of incompetence and carelessness shown tonight is honestly shocking. I ordered nachos with nacho cheese, shredded cheese, beef, and paid extra for guacamole. What I received was a joke. There was no nacho cheese at all, only shredded cheese that wasn’t even melted. The beef was cold, the chips were stale, and the extra guacamole I paid for was missing entirely.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, another sandwich I ordered was missing the avocado completely and was instead served with burnt cheese. This is not “a mistake” — this is blatant laziness and a total failure to do the bare minimum required to serve food. Cold, improperly prepared food is a serious health concern, and this kind of negligence could absolutely make someone sick.
This place clearly does not care about accuracy, food safety, or its customers. Do not eat here. Until management addresses the obvious lack of training, quality control, and accountability, this establishment is unsafe and not worth anyone’s money.

I dont go to twister often, its here and there when I do go. This particular establishment was quite good, food was good, service was good, there were some odd bystanders around the restaurant on the outside and one on the inside that did not seem like customers. Other than this the food was great, and the r we restaurant was clean.

I don’t know when Twisters switched to canned nacho cheese slop on their Nachos supreme, but you just ruined it for me. I have ordered Nachos Supreme many times, shredded cheese melted, toasty corn tortilla chips. I could not eat that slop I bought yesterday. The chips turned into mush, the sauce tasted like every convenience store cheese sauce I’ve ever had–no flavor. The chicken was sloppy wet too, so by the time I got it back to my office to eat–it was slop–it looked like pig slop. It will be a long time before I try another Twisters menu. I shudder to think what they have done to the other foods I loved. When that Texas company bought Twisters they said they weren’t going to change things. Really?

When I am passing through Albuquerque I like to stop @ Twister’s if they are open. Thankfully they open at 4AM most days and are open until 9PM.
I am a sucker for their Chimichangas. Excellent.
This restaurant is clean and well managed, and the food is very good every time I order.
Everything is worth trying. Often if you want a little more sour cream or something they will add it free if you don’t like how much is on your plate. They are more generous than the national taco hells…
Give them a try if you like Southwestern food.
