The food looked delicious. I ordered the, pick your own, 2 enchilada plate. I got 2 shredded chicken, one w/sour cream sauce and one w/jalapeño cream sauce. I was very excited about having some spice in the sauce. Sadly, it did not, not even a little. It needed flavor, it was all bland. It looked beautiful but, for me, the flavor just wasn’t there. The avocado, full size, was a large portion, but it was pricy. The chip’s hot sauce was bland too.
Our waitress was so nice and friendly. Food came out pretty quick. It was nice n hot which I loved. Looked family friendly. Definitely a great place for lunch break. Music was playing kind of loud, it’s ok if you’re just going in to eat but you can’t really have a conversation w/o talking loud.
I would probably go again just bcuz our waitress was great and the restaurant itself looked very clean.

Ordered the Supreme Nachos and my friend ordered 2 taco special (beef bites). Loved the shredded chicken and guacamole. The ground beef a little dry, overcooked and a tiny bit salty. I love that the nachos were made with half testimony shells. Easy to pick n up and not soggy! Overall quite good and would recommend. My fiend said her tacos were delicious and definitely would recommend. The Sopapilla was very warm and so comforting to bite into. Sugary goodness. Waitress was attentive and sweet!

Good food on the way to Houston. A little on the salty side but flavorful. Had the Smothered chicken and the wife the Taco Salad . Chips and Queso authentic. 4.5 experience.

Small town, so certainly have to take that into consideration. But this place looks 20 years outdated and service is atrociously slow. Very overpriced but for Childress this is probably the best you’ll get.
Food tastes great however. I’d certainly order this to go many times again.

The “smothered chicken” with mushrooms, cheese and bacon was the best I have ever had. Super moist, grilled and wit deliciousness of toppings. Paired with veggies and mashed potatoes. Didn’t taste Mexican at all – which is good because I don’t like saucy Mexican foods. My husbands was excellent too. We were just driving through. Too bad, because if this was close to home – this would be a regular place for us to eat.
Lively and packed for a tiny town. What a great place!

Unbelievably prompt service and great food. The only real place to dine in Childress. I give 4 stars for atmosphere because it was a tad loud with so many folks celebrating birthdays and such, but in this town, where else would you go? I don’t blame them.

You know a restaurant is good when you see the locals there. Conveniently located on the 287, this family restaurant has exceeded our expectations! We stopped by for lunch on our road trip. The food was great and the bathroom was clean. We had a great time! 😀

Fast friendly service. Margaritas were delicious. Beef fajitas for two and a crispy taco plate two margaritas and a soda was only $83. We even had leftovers for tomorrow.

A very nice place to stop for good Mexican food. We ordered variety of dishes and all were much better than what we expected. Do not forget the carrot cake, it was delicious.
