We have gone to Abby’s countless times, for decades. In the last year or so we had backed off quite a bit because the food and atmosphere had gone downhill. Employees have always been nice enough. Some go above and beyond. But food was slow getting out.
About two weeks ago we went back and OH MY GOSH, our pizzas were fabulous. The condiment and drinks area was orderly and stocked, tables clean. Service time was reasonable. We are anxious to go back again today.

I had such a great experience this evening. The food was delicious as always, but what really stood out was the amazing service. Shannon went above and beyond during a busy rush of orders — not only was she super friendly and attentive, but she even helped me carry my pizzas out to my car. That kind of kindness and customer care is rare these days, and it made my day! I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends. Thank you, Shannon, for the outstanding service!

This pizza was excellent! Abbey’s Legendary Pizza is a chain but it has the feel of a local pizza joint. We tried them out because we don’t have them in AZ and the pictures looked pretty wild. It definitely did not disappoint! We ordered our pizzas to go and it was going to be 30 minute wait so we decided to get a few beers and hang out. The beer selection is small but really good and we had a great time talking and waiting for the pizzas. We ordered the taco pizza and the Philly cheese steak pizza. They were both delicious but the Philly was definitely our favorite!
As for the service, when we arrived no one working really seemed jazzed to be there. We were glared at by the girl at the cash register and no one was communicating with each other very well in the kitchen. It kind of felt like maybe there had just been a fight. That’s 100% speculation but it was pretty tense. Even the manager seemed annoyed when he had to pour our beers. I am guessing that no one else there was over 21 which is why we had to wait for the manager to be available. The service definitely was not great but the food was fabulous. If you are going to pick up pizzas and leave you should not have any issues.
I would absolutely recommend getting pizzas to go from here if you are in the area.

This was our first time having pizza at Abby’s, we tried Greek, the Garlic Chicken, and the Pepperoni in a large. Initially we were slightly taken back by the price of 3 pizzas. But once we received the final product, we understood why they have a higher price point, they are quite generous with their toppings in both quantity and quality. Overall, the flavors were on point, the dough was great, the service was fast, and their customer service was great.

And… The pizza was burned, it was hard, toppings were sparce on the hamburger and it was very spicy.
We were told they don’t serve the potato slices because they are too busy.

Good pizza popular location very busy most days. Comfortable welcoming environment large tvs to watch your favorite sports or casual show small arcade area for kids to play as well as video lottery for the adults.

BEYOND DISAPPOINTED. I spent my entire childhood in Newberg, all 12 years with Abbeys being a HUGE part of my High School years. I hadn’t been here in over a decade, stopped for take-out as a Friday treat after bragging to roommate about my memories from youth. Unbelievably overpriced CARDBOARD now. Researched when home and SURPRISE SURPRISE, sold out 5 years ago. Lesson learned, check ahead. Man I miss the 80’s.
