This place is amazing!! Was in town for a girls trip and this was our first stop. The margaritas are SO good!! I wish I took a picture before I demolished the enchiladas but those were also so so good. I attached a photo of the empty plate. Our server was a women and she rocked. The place isn’t super huge so the server is top tier. So many options for drinks and food, I highly reccomend!!

The service was immediately kind and the waitress was attentive our whole meal. The food also came out very hot and fresh. The horchata was a delicious addition. We added a 20% tip and the total with that was $91 amongst the 4 of us. I think the prices are very reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality.

Good Mexican food! Pretty typical Mexican food joint. Nothing special but everything we had was tasty and hot. The Pollo a la crema dish I got was good but could have used some more flavoring. Maybe some green chilies would have added some nice flavor.

Very solid sit-down Mexican spot. Stopped in on a Friday morning when it was pretty quiet, and the atmosphere impressed me right away — clean, nicely decorated, good music, and comfortable temperature. Service was friendly and attentive, though a little slow.

Chips and salsa were above average. The salsa had great flavor (a bit watery for my preference — I like it chunkier), but the seasoning on the chips made up for it.

I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas for two, and the portion was generous for the price. Presentation was excellent — sizzling hot with quality tortillas. The flavor leaned a little bland, but they provide plenty of condiments at the table (salt, pepper, Valentina, Tapatío, etc), so it was easy to adjust.

Overall, my expectations were low going in, but the attention to detail and overall experience surprised me. Solid 6.5/10 — good value, and I’d come back again.

One of our favorite restaurants on the coast. An excellent value for the money. Tasty food with friendly, helpful service. The food is comparable to the best Mexican food in Portland. We have dined in and done take out.

Beautiful sunny day on the coast, everywhere else had a 30-45 min wait. 7 of us sat down with no wait and immediately were greeted with chips & salsa. Waiter took drink and food orders right away, and everything came out super quick! Servers were attentive and came by often. 10/10 recommend

Honestly the food is very mediocre. Big portion sizes for the price which is great and the service and atmosphere is good, but I wouldn’t come back. Lack of flavor and textures were very off. Tried some of the flan but it was inedible, texture was just bad.

Disappointing experience, everything was bland. The beans, rice, and even the tacos were flavorless. The meat in the tacos was hard and chewy, and the rice wasn’t fresh.

Well, I would love to give this place five stars, but it just was not a five-star experience.

I give it four stars because the location was nice (very close to the beach).

There was a wait, which usually means the place is REALLY good. So I was willing to wait for 30 minutes.

I ordered the fajitas. They brought three tortillas. I asked if I could get more than three, and they said no. You can ask for more, but you will be charged. Huh? I’ve never had that happen when ordering fajitas. Typically, if I use all the tortillas, I ask for more and there’s no additional charge. Am I off-base here? Anyway, for $22, I should be able to get an extra tortilla or two.

Unfortunately, the meat wasn’t seasoned much and it was chewy. I’ve definitely had better fajitas. But the presentation was nice. The plate was sizzling like crazy and smoke was going everywhere. This was the smokiest fajita plate I have ever seen in my entire life. The entire restaurant looked like a scene from Backdraft.

I think had the meat been premium, and I could have gotten an extra tortilla or two, I would’ve given this place five stars.

Anyway, it’s small and cozy, and the food seemed pretty authentic. I liked the atmosphere. And the people were nice.

And there’s just something memorable about the Oregon Coast. The food wasn’t perfect, but it was a special evening nonetheless. 😉

Great food. Friendly and responsive staff. The only reason for the four stars for service was the way the food was delivered. Beans, rice, etc first. A bit of a wait… Then the sizzling hot fajitas, another longer wait while we hungrily nibbled at those dishes, then finally the tortillas after we’d finished a good part of the rest. A little weird and backward. But it was great food!
