We called before we came in to make sure there were vegan options. The guy said we have a ton of options for you.

Great!

We show up. A ton of options = House salad with no protein. Avocado toast for $16, hold the egg, no seasoning, no flavor, just avocado smashed in a piece of bread and a little bit of hummus snuck under. And fife added protein they even gifted me some avocado peel. Wow. I loved all the options. Thanks you guys, really made my holidays special

Lunch menu = French fries.

And before you say “we have so many options” I asked the waiter, the bartender and another waiter, and they just said “we know we don’t have much options but we are working on it”. Hahaha. Ok 😉 I get the joke.

More and more places are realizing there are vegans out there. I didn’t choose the restaurant, my family did. I just wanted to go out for Sunday brunch but instead everyone else was full of delicious food and I went home to actually eat. Is it that hard to have some frozen burned meatless option that’s forgotten in the back of the freezer that you can apply the “vegan surcharge” to and double the price?

I hate coming to Norfolk for this exact reason.

Really good service and food. Started with the Bloody Mary and coffee then ordered the Baltimore Benedict. The Bloody Mary was delicious and it was only $6. Eggs were perfect, good hollandaise and muffin. The crab was fine but it was labeled as lump, but it was pretty small pieces. It could have been lump crab meat but if it was, it had been broken down. If you put lump in your recipe, you should leave it in the biggest pieces you can. Either way it tasted good. Hash browns were kind of addicting, I thought I was done but as I waited on the check I kept eating them.
My waitress, Hanna, was very nice and attentive.
I want to come back and try dinner.

This is my second time eating here. I am now pregnant so I may be a little picky. I came with my husband. He got the strawberry cheesecake French toast which was absolutely delicious. Would come back for this. I got the chicken and waffles. The waffles were fluffy and the chicken was cooked well however the chicken was flavorless. The batter could use more seasoning. I also ordered a side of breakfast links which were so hard that I didn’t eat it. We also grabbed the Chesapeake bay burger to split. This was really good as well. The only thing that threw me off was that the crab dip was cold. But overall I would order it again.

Oh wow! We stumbled upon this wonderful place. Beautiful indoor space, cute outdoor space. Great lighting can be a little more dim. Mariah, Aries and Diamond are amazing bartenders!! They are attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and gave suggestions! Definitely will be back for the food, drinks, and enlightening conversations.

used to go here all the time but the past two times i’ve been the quality of the food has gone so downhill… the last time i was here i brought my parents with my boyfriend for valentine’s day and we got two appetizers, one was some type of nachos and the other was a cauliflower appetizer and both of them really were not good and were not worth the money at all. then dinner came and the guys got burgers and they said that they were okay, they aren’t picky at all so they were fine with it. i got a pasta with chicken in it and my chicken was raw, they offered me a free dessert to compensate it, i hate returning food, i feel awkward and apologize even tho im not the chef. the dessert was honestly really gross, i had a banana crepe and it was just so soggy and like falling apart. idk. i used to love it here, came for my 21st birthday and kept going back but it’s not worth the money. vibes are nice inside, staff was very kind. food is shit along w the prices for what u get

Way too crowded and there was at least a half hour wait for a table. Food was okay. Service was okay. Atmosphere was okay. Parking was tricky but we lucked into a space nearby. I won’t be in a hurry to return though my companions rated it higher than I did. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I have been coming here for over twenty years. This was our place for lunch for quite some time. It went from being one of my favorite place to “well must we go there”. We had Avocado on toast which very good. Would give it a five star. We also had a salad, hard to give a one star. Someone just through some lettuce on a plate and hear ya go. Had to get extra extra dressing. Two of us had the Mediterranean omelet. Not sure what it was suppose to taste like because it had no taste at all. Maybe they ran out of salt and pepper. I don’t know. I know prices are high but no salt and pepper? Is it that serious. Expensive omelet that had no flavor. 130.00 dollars down the drain. The appetizer (calamari) was dusted with flour and fried. I think they should season the flower. Just saying. Again, maybe they ran out of salt and pepper or someone in the kitchen was to lazy to use it. I don’t know, just guessing at this point. The only reason the get two stars is because of the avocado toast and the atmosphere.
