Better than I expected. It’s cozy inside. Waitress and hostess was friendly. Some of the food was hot and fresh some was not so much. I’d come again though.

Been there several times during the day and in the afternoon, the food is always cold. This is supposed to be a hot bar buffet and nothing is ever hot when we go there and it’s not hot, we say something to them. They tell us that they turn the heat up on there. And it’ll be heat up in 20 minutes. Then, they take the cold food and put it on top of the hot food. They should just throw that away. It is no good

Stopped in after the Syrup Festival for dinner, upon entering we walked up to the hostess station where a couple of the staff stood, giving no greeting just motioning to to follow a waitress to a table.
While we established our buffet meals staff restocked items on the steam tables by dumping the fresh on top of the old! There were bits of food all about the bases of the steam tables and in the walk ways . However our waitress was friendly and attentive making the evening pleasant.

I’ve gone here numerous times over the years. Today (5/11/2024) was a horrible experience. Most of the food was not warm or hot. Atmosphere was horrible, children running around causing a scene, and an odd character playing his laptop loudly beside my table. An employee was eating out of a container from the walk in, in the dining room.
The boiled shrimp seemed to have dirt or grim in it, the egg drop soup had the consistency of mucus, sushi tasted as if it was shipped across the world. Absolutely dreadful.
One of the older gentleman employees or maybe the owner gave the check way early, as if to rush me out. I had only gotten 2 small plates at this time.
Do not recommend, and the owner should be ashamed for how horrible this place is ran now. Health department needs to investigate. Go to China King in Tyler. Or I hear Longview has a decent buffet.
