This is the worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. I recently started working in the area and have visited this location twice—this will be my last visit. Every vehicle is asked to pull forward, regardless of what is ordered. The woman taking orders has a very poor attitude and speaks to customers in a rude, demanding manner.
On my first visit, I asked for spicy nuggets and was told there would be a five-minute wait, so I changed my order to regular nuggets. After paying, I was still asked to pull forward.
This location clearly has serious management issues. It’s hard to understand why every car is being pulled up during the lunch rush around noon, a time when high volume should be expected and properly prepared for.

Listen I like to go here because it close by and I can grab a quick sandwich. The wait it always so long and the poor workers are always so stressed and I get the feeling that they are hanging on by a thread. Just my take on this. As a side note…the app is trash. If something is wrong with my order I have to call someone and they can’t fix it. Coupons don’t work. It’s not this Wendy’s fault but it is just another reason why not 5 stars.

Today on September 17 at 10:07 I pulled in into the drive-through and kept trying to get somebody’s attention. There was nobody else in line. I waited till 1017 to finally drive up to the window to give them my order and see what was going on after repeatedly saying hello multiple times before. Once I got to the window, I told the employee that I had been waiting. She rudely told me that I wasn’t waiting for too long and walked away didn’t even take my order or anything then I waited three more minutes for them to come in. Take my order. I ordered two orders of the two for three biscuits I told them and clarified that I specifically only needed four biscuits in total then they told me to park to the side from 10:17. I waited until 10:36 to receive the food when I noticed that They had given me eight total biscuits I asked for the receipt because I was never handed it. Once I got the receipt, I saw that they had charged me for four orders of the two for three. I told the lady that they had gotten my order wrong and I did not order this many biscuits and would like a refund. She said that she had to get the manager and she wouldn’t be able to take the food back shortly after that she came back to tell me that I would need to give her the food back which was fine. I didn’t need eight biscuits when I had just ordered for four I gave them back to her. I waited for the manager to come back and give me the change When the manager walked out. It was the same lady that had told me I hadn’t waited for too long, so then tell me that I had ordered eight of those biscuits which I responded to ma’am I clarified saying, I only needed four total biscuits. She gave me a mean face. Horrible customer service. They don’t know how to listen nor do they know to apologize when they have done wrong. And another thing if you heard me saying hello and saw that I was out there why wouldn’t you answer if it’s on your work hours?

Restaurant is very clean nice looking employees are so nice! As far as the food? It’s Wendy’s! It tasted like Wendy’s! Which was what we expected, so I guess it meet it expectations! However, we did have our order screwed up, BUT stuff happens right? Madison took our order and she was very upset it came out wrong, but she was very quick to fix it! They wouldn’t take back the wrong order so one of us added it to our meals! We were going to stop at the Wendy’s closer to 77/321 but I drive further up 321 to come to this one because I thought being away from the highways, this might be less busy and more friendly, I was right! Thank you Madison for making our visit excellent! We will be back because of this staff! You guys are great!

This Wendy’s is currently scamming the entire system by having EVERY car pull off to thr side and out of line when you place ANY order. Absolutely crap service! STOP SUPPORTING THIS STORE UNTIL THEY STOP SCAMMING WENDYS CORPORATE. (Clearly they SEEM to handle every drivethru order in 2 minutes, according to the numbers, but you really have to sit for 7-10 MINUTES. THIS PARTICULAR TIME, AFTER WAITING THE ORDER BROUGHT TO MY CAR WAS WRONG!) In addition, they made sure to give no receipt, so no survey.
**Previously reported on a survey however, please see the pIc for the ACTUAL RESPONSE, in all of its glory. (No capitalization, zero proper grammar and spelling….THIS IS FROM THE CAROLINA RESTAURANT GROUP CORPORATE OFFICE! BTW, NO FREE ANYTHING GIVEN. I WAS TOLD THEY KNOW NOTHING ABOUT IT.)

It is ridiculous at how slow this place is. You could have two people in line and you’re still going to wait 30 minutes to get your food. This is not a one off thing, I live five minutes away, so I try to come here to get food and it is impossible because you have to wait so long management needs to do something either hire more people or train in time management for their staff.

Gaston Wendy’s has a big problem! Maybe they are short staffed. Tonight people drove away without ordering. I waited 25 minutes in line! Then waited about 8 minutes at window to get 3 large chili’s, 6 nuggets, and a large tea! I was patient but this is uncalled for. The staff was not friendly and looked very unhappy. *This is twice I’ve went through this similar experience. I know other patrons were upset as well. The staff seemed to be in a chaotic frenzy. Not good!

Waited in line for 30 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. Place had 6 workers and wasnt even that busy. Dude was also handling food after touching other surfaces without a glove. They leave trash on tbe counter. All the trashcans were full. Sprite was just seltzer. Had NO napkins and condiment table was disgusting. Completely horrible.
