Wow, this restaurant has changed.
This review is based solely on the food—I have no complaints about the service or the atmosphere. I’ve visited several times before, but this last dinner really let us down. What used to feel like a memorable dining experience is now just an expensive night out. The restaurant still gives off a five-star vibe, but the food didn’t leave a lasting positive impression.
Our salads arrived before the appetizer, even though we asked for them afterward. The Caesar salad was great, but the calamari appetizer was neither crispy nor spicy. Our steaks lacked seasoning and even needed Heinz 57 sauce—something I’ve never had to request before. To make matters worse, although we ordered the same steaks, their sizes were noticeably different.
The au gratin potatoes have changed too. They used to be sliced with a white cheese topping, but now they’re diced and covered with melted cheddar straight from the oven. It was okay, but not what we expected. The lobster mac and cheese used to be gooey and flavorful, with lobster in every bite. This time, the cavatappi sat in liquid, and the lobster was just placed on top. Presentation was good, but the taste fell short.
The atmosphere was great, and our server was very kind—but overall, the food lacked the quality we’ve come to expect.

Ww made reservations for my birthday did see as first time guests and I so glad we did! The restaurant in general was beautifully decorated, especially for the Christmas holiday! BORIS was our server and he did and exceptional job, asking us if we had any questions about the menu: and after telling him I loved seafood, he , suggested that I try the new scallops dinner choice in the menu now. He said the chef allowed everyone to taste them, and that they were phenomenal! They were served on a perfectly cooked bed of flavorful risotto. with a wonderful lemon butter cream sauce! My man has the 16 ounce Ribeye and it was also cooked to perfection. He ordered the roasted Brussels and au gratin potatoes! Sooo good!!
We finished the meal with a surprise piece of scrumptious cinnamon bread pudding, with strawberries: and HAPPY BIRTHDAY written on the plate for me!
We are so happy we tries Ruth’s and can’t wait to come back!!!!!

It was my one-year anniversary, and I had made a reservation. I added a note about it, and they made the experience so much more enjoyable. I ordered a T-bone steak, medium-rare. It was a bit too rare for my liking, but my amazing server had the brilliant idea to bring out another hot plate. This made the steak perfectly cooked for me. My girlfriend opted for the Orlando Magical Dining experience, which is highly recommended. You get a special menu with the option to choose from certain selections. We also received two complimentary desserts, which was a wonderful touch. I highly recommend getting the sweet potatoes; there’s nothing quite like them. This was an incredible time, an experience I’ll never forget. Thank you.

Evening out for dinner. Food was great but it took about 1 hrs 20 minutes to get the food. We had to ask what was going on and was told the stuffed breast chicken takes long to prepare (would have been nice to know that instead of us wondering what was going on). When food arrived, the chicken and steak were hot but the spinach was cold. Server was kind enough take back and bring warm spinach as well as take off a glass of wine from the overall bill. As always, great atmosphere.

On Saturday 1/31/26 we had a small celebration of life dinner for our mother at Ruth Chris Steak House in Lake Mary. The room was perfect, having a view that was peaceful & comforting. The food was amazing, everything was perfectly cooked & absolutely delectable.Kudos to the chef! Our service was fabulous. We had two very patient & thoughtful waitresses.Ladies, awesome job! Thank you to the management & staff for your professionalism & your ability to accomodate us during a very tender time.

It was a delightful family dinner with the exception of a loud and crude party at a nearby table. They did not care about the managers insistence to behave nor the other guests requesting them to quiet down in front of their children.

Our visit to Ruth’s Chris Steak House did not disappoint. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made our evening feel truly special. My wife and I visited for an early Valentine’s celebration, and the atmosphere was warm, elegant, and perfectly suited for a memorable night out. Finally tried Ruth Chris in Lake Mary. I was excited to dine at this well established restaurant. The atmosphere and food were great. Our waitress was very attentive but we noticed an anomaly. Diners who came in after us were served long before us. Although we were seated at 7:00, our appetizers didn’t arrive at our table until 8:00. Then our entrees weren’t served until 9:00. In addition, my surf and turf wasn’t presented together. The filet came out first and ten minutes later, the lobster was served. For $500, I expected more.
