First time here. Had been wanting to try this place for a while now but was pretty disappointed. Coming in we only had the option to use the kiosk to place our order so not even a really welcoming vibe. Then the prices were misleading as my friend ( also a first timer here) and me chose combos they added on to the original combo price for adding a drink and fries? So in totals for my hotdog and his sandwich, two small fries, two small drink we paid about $31. Seating area was clean, open and not at all crowded. We waited for the order to be called out. We tried the Combo Beef & Char Grilled Italian Sausage Sandwich. In the advertisement it shows that it has peppers but we had to pay to add it on. The sausage was cooked well and juicy unfortunately the dryness from the beef really off set it. I feel like maybe having a dipping sauce would have worked but still shouldn’t rely on it to save this sandwich from dryness. Also tried the Char Grilled Maxwell Street Polish Sausage, again the sausage was good and full of flavor however the amount of onions was very little. Visually it looked like it was have a decent amount but once I took a bite I noticed that there was like 2 strips of onions and tasted more of mustard. Was really disappointed with this visit especially for the price I expected more when it came to flavor. If this key thing wasn’t a miss I wouldn’t have minded the cost but that wasn’t the case here.

Been meaning to try this spot out for a while now. Had a doctor’s appointment nearby and decided to stop on my way home. I had the classic Italian beef sandwich splashed with jus and topped with sweet and hot peppers. Bread is soft and fresh- honestly it’s the star. Killer sandwich and quick and friendly service. Huge seating area inside and big patio. Serves beer but no full bar. Only complaint would be the fact we don’t have a location in Fort Worth! 🙂

Service was great!. Burger and sandwich were good. Salads, weren’t as fresh. Lettuce and tomatoes tasted a bit old. Fries and onion rings were good.

I will return and do recommend.

1st time here. Had the char broiled cheeseburger, frees & drink. Surprisingly good & filling. I thought the only served hot dogs. I decided to get a slice of chocolate cake. It was very moist. Needless to say, I’ll make another trip, or two, back to Portillo’s!

Went for lunch with our agent and we had a wonderful time with the restaurant having clean tables and customer service.
Tried the spicy chicken sandwich and it was delicious. If you like spicy I will say it wasn’t, but it was a huge crispy chicken breast. I do recommend it.

I’ve had the original Portillos in Chicago and had to see how this compared.
At entry you order your own or there’s also an option with a cashier. Although I chose the self order, ordering with someone would be my choice next time. Lots of menu options and overall a large place. Loved the decor and how clean the restaurant was.

Burger and Italian beef were delicious. The Italian beef was just like I remembered in Chicago, I did add cheese.

Great experience, wonderful food, will def return.

Overpriced hot dogs. Service was not good. Cashier was great. Manager needed more customer service classes. First time here. Very disappointed. 2 hot dogs.drink and coke. $18.50., for hot dogs. Meat sandwich was tasteless. they give you spicy peppers to put on them. There were 3 of us and only 2 got their food. They finished eating before I got my food. It was all hype… Not worth the price. The place was roomy and nicely decorated.

I come to the Arlington location all the time and every time I come they never put napkins in the bags for this greasy food. Please, please train your employees to put NAPKINS IN THE BAGS!! Ps…. The food is always good. My husband literally wipes his mouth with the plastic bag while I used my cute dress to get the grease off my hands.

Is it like the Windy City location?
Umm… close enough, I suppose. Truthfully, eating at Portillo’s in Chicago just hits differently—but this Arlington, Texas location comes pretty close!

It was almost 9 PM when I arrived, and while the dining area was quiet, the kitchen looked busy—probably cranking out drive-thru and delivery orders.

I ordered the Italian beef sandwich with sweet and hot peppers, slightly wet.
1. The bread was just the right amount of wet with a firm crunch—yummy!
2. The meat was soft, juicy, and flavorful. Some say it lacks flavor, but I disagree. Paired with the peppers and bread, it’s a winner.
3. The crinkle-cut fries were fine—nothing special, but I didn’t come for the fries anyway.

On a personal note, I recently gave up Coca-Cola and was tempted to order one with my sandwich. I resisted and went with unsweetened tea instead (boring, I know).

The restaurant is spacious with larger-than-usual tables—great for big groups or families. They offer high chairs, too. I love the Route 66 gas station–style decor, though the elevator music was a bit of a mood killer.

Come check it out for yourself—I think you’ll like it.

I’ve loved Portillos since I first had their food in Chicago. This place did not disappoint! The most unusual, and delicious dogs I’ve ever had. Highly recommend the one with the tomatoes, pickles and more. Very friendly staff. Fast and efficient service. Will definitely be back!
