Decent bbq – no combos so food is à la carte so probably more $ than I would have paid for. Chili nachos were not good at all – chopped brisket sandwich had good flavor though. Fries appeared home made –
No veteran discount, only active duty
Public Servant dis. Only ~$4
Not sure I would return for this experience.

It’s a very low key place. Well worn, but in the best way. They know bbq .
Had the chopped beef sandwich and fries. They were super delicious.
They didn’t put a bunch bbq sauce on the sandwich to my dismay but then it really doesn’t need a bunch as the meat said it all
Really enjoyed the fountain drinks
As they are old time original .
The fries were way past fantastic.
We will return this bbq restaurant again.
Great job Woody creek bbq staff.
We felt and tasted the love and passion yall have for bbq
Returned again, had chopped beef sandwiches, ribs, sausage, hot sausage, fries.
Still a WOW in my book.
Food is great , love they sodas, the staff and the environment of the store. This a winning combination.
Will be visiting here when we are on that side of town.
Thanks to the staff there

Some of the best BBQ I have had in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Woody’s did not disappoint. The brisket was tender, melt in your mouth bursting with flavor. The ribs were fall off the bone delish. And the jalapeno cheddar sausage had great snap, flavor and balanced out the meal. I asked it all down with an ice cold Dallas Blonde. But I cannot forget the Nanner Puddin…wow simply wow. Brulee bananas, nilla wafers added to the pudding. One of the best I’ve ever had. Thank you guys from the Courtyard in Fort Worth. I don’t know when I’ll be back in the area but I do know if and when I return I will be back, Hungry for more!

Best BBQ I’ve had in DFW since I moved out here in 2017. Friendly staff, decent proportions of food, and the sweet tea is always on point! Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner to everyone!!!

Quick service, tasty moist brisket, and house made pickled onions made this a home run for me.
I never order fries, but I spotted an order nearby and got them hand cut, skin on style and they were delicious. I almost passed over it because I thought it was inside the derelict mall, but I’m glad I came by, I’ll be back.

if you like microwave barbecue this is a place for you!!you can tell it’s microwave when it’s 500°.and of course it’s dry. The potato salad was oddly flavored.. red beans were soso..
The burnt ends were microwaved also..uhg!! 27.50.. sorry I’ll have to go somewhere else.. I would have rather had a McRib.. if that tells you anything!?? Sorry to even post this! It was just deeply disappointing.

I am trying to make it a point to visit every BBQ place in DFW. It is safe to say that Woody Creek made it to the bottom of the list. The service was within question, the “brisket” was more similar to rib roast. The environment doesn’t give a BBQ feel but more so a country diner? I am not sure to be honest. I don’t think I will bring my wife to this one just because I care about her. The outside of the building looked cool!

The chopped brisket sandwich was amazing. Nice and chunky. Bbq sauce was good. They let you add your own toppings at the little salad bar area. Pickles, onions and being able to add Jalepenos really set this sandwich off. 10/10 would eat again.

The ribs and turkey were smoked to perfection, tender and juicy. The sides were delicious, especially the green beans! Friendly staff, and reasonable wait time for food.

I was craving BBQ & found this place close to my office. I got the 2-meat plate with sliced brisket & smoked sausage – sides of potato salad & green beans – served with a smoky BBQ sauce & bread. They had great sweat tea, too. I’m glad I found this place; I will definitely back for seconds!
