This restaurant was nothing less than spectacular. The food is art. The chef creates each plate with such precision and elegance – it is truly breathtaking. The only thing that surpasses the beauty of the food is the care and attention to detail from the staff/servers. Starting with the greeting at the front door we felt welcomed. Following that our servers explained each course and paired our drinks perfectly. I can honestly say that we had a complete night with every need taken care of. I can’t give enough praise to this restaurant. We simply loved it.

I visited Kiin for the 2026 Winterlicious dinner and had a great experience.

The food is refined Thai cuisine – not heavy, not oily, and very well balanced.
You can really taste the layers of spices and herbs.

Our favourites were:
✅Tom Kha Pla (hot and sour coconut fish soup) – clean, light and very aromatic
✅Roy Thai assorted dumplings – fun to try different bites in one plate
✅Khao Soi dry curry noodles with scallops – great texture and Northern Thai style
✅Mango sticky rice – beautifully presented and not too sweet

The restaurant is small and cozy, so I highly recommend making a reservation.

Very suitable for dates or a relaxed dinner with friends.

A great Winterlicious choice if you enjoy elegant and modern Thai food.

Great service and ambiance!
Had a lovely experience at Kiin.
The hot and sour coconut soup had complex and delicate flavours blended together.
The assorted dumplings were alright – but beautifully presented.
Noodles with coconut curry were good, but scallops tasted a little fishier than I’m used to.
Short rib and roti were incredible. Tender meat and super flaky roti.

The steamed pandan coconut cream dessert was the perfect balance of textures and richness without being overly sweet.

I was surprised by the mango sticky rice – the rice wasn’t that sticky?

Drinks were not bad.

We had a reservation for 2 for a Saturday night dinner during Christmas holidays here at Kiin. It’s a very tiny place so please be prepared. We were seated at the bar since the place was tiny and full.. they couldn’t get us a proper table so we had to settle for the bar stools at the bar. We’re vegetarian so the server provided us with clear recommendations based on our food preferences. Drinks were excellent. The food was presented so well and taste was 10/10 as well. My partner ordered the vegetarian masaman curry and she didn’t find it flavourful or tasty. All the appetizers & the rest of the main course were very tasty though not very filling. Price was extremely high for the quantity of the food that you get but the quality was really good. Overall, I recommend that if you do go out for a special occasion, make sure that you get a table!

The cocktails are delicious – we tried Preaw Sour, Yum Yan martini, Cha Chung Flip, Kep Kiao, Nutty and Nice. They are a bite pricey but they have a good amount of alcohol! The golden dumpling was great, so crispy and the spicy vinaigrette balances it well ( its hot so you have to let it rest for a minute before put the whole dumpling in your mouth). The atmosphere was great, its a quint restaurant you can have great memories with friends or loved ones!

Went here with my partner as date night and we took advantage of their winterlicious menu, and it was so so good. I haven’t had such an experience like it in a long time.

We both had different three course meals and they were all delicious, the waiting staff allocated to us (can’t remember name), did an exceptionally amazing job telling us about the meal every-time she served us, and really made us feel comfortable.

The other waiters pulled their weight by always looking out for us, refilling our cup everytime it was below a certain limit, and their attention to detail was mind blowing.

It’s one place I really recommend and can’t wait to visit again.

This place is one of the better fine dining places to try. I got the tasting menu for two and ordered a couple of cocktails (~$600).

(Im missing one or two pics but…)
Every dish was great and harmonized well. The flavours were refined and smooth to the palate. I would eat 10 of those dumplings if I could. Kudos to the beef being so tender for the third pic. However, besides the first 3 dishes, the rest wasn’t giving that same wow factor for a perfect 5 stars. This is a small detail only comparing to other Michelin restaurants I’ve dined in. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the experience and it was amazing food.

Comparing to other Michelin stars, I would rate this 4.65/5. This is still better than other asian Michelin restaurants in Toronto.

Amazing food. We had the tasting menu along with wine pairings,, and everything was amazing. My favorurite dish was the Lamb Chops, Duck, and their desserts. The wine pairings was a good choice. Each was was perfectly selected and complimented each dish. And the Dead Fish Martini was such a interesting drink, definitely order it. The only reason I didn’t give this restaurant 5 stars due to slow service. I feel the kitchen has a backlog and the time between each dish was too long, sometime 10 mins wait. Overall a very enjoyable experience and highly recommended.

Best Tasting Menu in Toronto!

Context: My partner and I went to Kiin for a special occasion and both did a tasting menu each at the Chef’s Table. This is a two seater spot where you get to see the open style kitchen prep all the food. As someone with 5+ years experience in the hospitality industry, you know the experience is going to be great when you can see and hear how respectful, efficient, and professional the back and front of house are to each other.

My partner did the did the regular tasting menu and I did the vegan one. We had previously gone to 4 other tasting menus in Toronto. Comparatively, we ranked Kiin’s tasting menu 1st due to their presentation, food, service, and drinks. We made sure to get pictures of each course this time as we had a feeling walking in that it was going to be something special – we were right.

Our server, Arthur B, heightened our experience. His calm and knowledgeable demeanor helped us enjoy each course and pay attention to the ingredients in each dish.

I will gladly be back and I highly recommend Kiin to anyone looking for something special or just a night out.

Thank you, Chef Nuit!

I tried the Cool Season 7-course tasting menu at Kiin and there were some genuinely memorable dishes. The crispy rice cracker, the hot & sour coconut soup with fish, the grilled lamb with sticky rice and tomato-chilli relish, and the coconut ice cream dessert were all beautifully balanced and full of flavour.

Service was warm and very attentive throughout the evening. When one main (the duck) wasn’t to my taste, the team handled it graciously and offered an alternative, and the cozy, thoughtfully designed space made it a pleasant place to spend the night.
