Me and my family went out to enjoy dinner.There’s about seven of us with six adults.One child out of all of us, three of our dinners had hair in it.My older sister is currently with child.And she didn’t realize there was her in her food, until I had pointed it out.She got sick after relizing threw up as soon as i parked at home. They offered us is something complimentary and when i took her up on it they never gave it to us. They Only took two of the dinners off because my dad had his food remade, in my opinion if you find hair in your food after eating some you should be charged its disgusting. Don’t recommend eating here unless you like hair. I attached a photo of my dad’s dinner that had food in it.

Not a good time to go there. You may not get all what you asked for so pay attention to what they bring to the table. Waitress never came back to see if we’re okay or needed anything.
I thought they were like the other ones in Atlanta and Stone Mountain GA. We always get awesome customers service there. Maybe next time next year .

We got there at 11:30 a.m. they had a sit in the foyer for 15 minutes while they prepared a table, then they led us back into the restaurant much to our surprise it was almost empty? Then they set us by the kitchen door, that’s where you sit people when the restaurant is full not empty? And as for their menu really $12 for french toast it’s just bread people, and no sides with it, needless to say we will never eat at IHOP again.

Only gave a star for service and food because it was awful our waitress acted like she didn’t want to be here and extremely rude the food – terrible bacon was the texture of petrified wood .. the grits were like cement eggs under cooked – this used to be one of my favorite places not anymore

Worst experience I’ve had in years today besides another ihop in KC a couple years ago. I had the biscuit sandwich & asked that the hash browns not be packed in to rectangular patty because it doesn’t evenly cook the hash browns they came out haystack style like I requested EXCEPT they were half burnt and half raw so guessing they were still cooked while “packed” then spread open. Anyway they were so nasty I didn’t even take a bite. Biscuit was so dry it immediately crumbled upon 1 st touch. One slice of bacon was raw the other 2 were burnt. Waitress Anisa was a total sweetheart. I made the TERRIBLE mistake of asking for the manager so she could correct problems with the cook. Wasn’t worried about a free meal it was just so ridiculously bad that I wanted to let them know I know I would if it were my restaurant. BIG MISTAKE! Kateland the “manager” shows up looking at me like I’m a criminal! I asked her if she would eat what was on my plate she responded “yes she likes crispy hash browns”. Instead of having or accepting ANY type of accountability for her business and showing ANY kind of resemblance of customer service she just treated me as if how dare I complain! I couldn’t believe this as I grew up in Wichita with a lot of family owned businesses and managed a grocery store for 20 years and ALWAYS gave 1st class customer service. Kateland the rude mgr said I’ll pay for it have a nice day as she walked away from my table. I told my NICE waitress Anisa(who should be manager if not the owner) that I wasn’t trying to get a free meal but just couldn’t believe the cook would send such atrocious food out to a customer! Next thing I know “Kateland” the manager comes back out and says she just got off the phone with the owner that he said I am not welcome back at the restaurant and she said to leave before she calls the police! I could not believe my ears! So since I complained I’m treated like a criminal instead her taking responsibility and showing empathy and customer service. Made me realize that the world is a different place these days! Unbelievable. Never eat at this restaurant! If you want to be treated with respect and eat good food every visit go to Doodah Diner downtown Wichita. I should have went there today and I would not have had to waste time and negative energy! No wonder there are a ton of bad reviews about food & management. 4.0 is not a good Google rating especially for food!
EDIT LATER EARLY AM: Just spent the last hour and a half in the bathroom. Although I only had a few bites I have been sick in the bathroom from the horrible food I got today at the IHOP on N Maize Rd. Thank God I didn’t eat very much. I noticed another review from a week ago where a girl also got sick from this same restaurant! Buyer beware this ihop is managed terribly and the owner should be there to fix the problems.

The worst Ihop in the greater Wichita area. The staff has been awful all 4 times we’ve gone, restrooms are always gross and the food is cold every single time. I would think that we would’ve learned our lesson before our 4th trip there.

My first time at this location and it was great. The restaurant was busy but we were seated right away. Our waiter was very attentive and understood all of our requests. Service was pretty fast, we didn’t have to wait long. The coffee was hot and hit the spot.

Great food. Awesome waitress. I ordered my eggs well done and she double checked they were(I’m pregnant so that was very appreciated.). Very clean establishment. Husband said that the bathroom smelled like melted butter, in a good way, it made him hungry.

We ordered breakfast, had to wait 30 min to get it and it wasn’t really busy. When the food came out, the hash browns were cold, the pancake was cold that the butter wouldn’t even melt, my husband’s toast was rock hard. I rarely complain about food, but this was bad. They did comp the meal, but still it will be a long while before I go back.

So grateful for the vegan selections and all were delicious. Not sure why I could not keep my support animal with me but they only allow service, not support. A month earlier it was okay so not sure why the change. My support animal is 10 lbs, and is quiet as a mouse, and a lap dog. It’s the only restaurant in Wichita in my experience that doesn’t allow support animals even though I have certification. Disappointing in that you can not follow your doctor’s certified orders that you paid retirement income for at IHOP.
