This place is hands-down my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. From the freshly made chips and salsa to the delicious burritos and margaritas, they never disappoint my south of the border cravings. Yum! Their daily specials are definitely worth a try and the staff is prompt, efficient and friendly. We will be back!..again.

After a long morning we came here with a group of friends for some drinks and food and this place did not disappoint!
I ordered the mango margarita and it was delicious! Strong and sweet, definitely only need 1. I ordered the grilled steak burrito and it was amazing! The steak was tender and packed with flavor. Really enjoyed the beans too!
The place was busy but the waiter was good, keeping our drinks and chips full. The salsa they brought out was good too! They offer easy checkout too with a QR code on the receipt, making it so you don’t have to give the waiter your card.
Overall, best Mexican spot in Falcon and good service! We will be back!

It’s a no for me. The food is not authentic and I had to ask another waiter for help because mine wasn’t very helpful. She was kind whenever she did check on us. Salsa and enchilada salsa tasted like they came from cans. Also nothing was spicy if that matters to anyone

Great food and great service! Owned by the sweetest family that is like a second family to us and always treats us well I always get the taquitos and a coconut margarita and im living my best life! The lighting and the art on the walls and on the tables is so cute and makes it feel so homey! I just can’t stress enough how nice is it to go into La mission and see great people and eat great food!! 10/10 would recommend 🙂

This was our first time to dine at La Mission Restaurant Falcon. It was recommended by a local business in the area.
There are not too many decent Mexican restaurants in Colorado Springs, La Mission isn’t one of them either. It’s very crowded and the tables are tightly packed together. It’s not very handicapped accessible. We had to ask patrons to move out of the way from their table for a powered wheelchair to get around them to exit.
Our server was young and had only been there for two or three months. She wasn’t familiar with their menu nor the happy hour drink price deals/criteria for the buy one get one free offer. This is so annoying and disappointing when servers can’t answer your questions and they don’t bother to get you an answer. Needless to say, we paid full price for our specialty margaritas as only the house margaritas are on the happy hour BOGO free promotion. At least they offered a military discount and allowed us to take one of the house margaritas we ordered to go..
The salsa that came with the chips was the consistency of jarred spaghetti sauce and the tortilla chips that were served were mostly small broken pieces. The seasoning was more on the bland side with all the dishes we ordered, smothered chicken burrito and beef chimichanga.
Their desserts were lackluster too. We’re tried the flan and sopapilla. The flan custard was not fresh, like it was store bought and the sopapilla was cold and undercooked.
I can’t recommend La Mission Restaurant for a quality Mexican food experience. Save your money or go to Taco Del Gordo on South Academy.

I don’t usually give out 5 stars, but Collin and the staff were amazing! My boyfriend said, “wow this place should be more popular…and easier to get to.” It is a bit tricky to get to, but worth it. The frozen margarita was blended to perfection. The poppers were okay, but didn’t easily have much flavor, they’re fantastic with the salsa though! Free chips and salsa!

Being authentic Mexicans we were completely disappointed. We ordered two dishes that totalled 40 dollars and are very angry. La Campechana is a COLD DISH. It’s a literal cocktail, not a soup! And the camaron en mojo de ajo should literally be smothered in garlic sauce this is not it. If you’re going to sell Mexican food it’s an honor to do so but please educate your owners on how to serve our dishes.

We liked this place for a while, and the food have been very delicious but unfortunately it went downhill, and the meal is not the same anymore, less meat in carna asada, more corn from can, not as tasty as before, and it was absolutely not appropriate to sweep the floor and put very dirty bucket in front of our table where we were eating. We didn’t enjoy!

Amazing food and service! Visited for lunch on Saturday August 5, 2023. Our waitress was amazing! Fajitas were cooked perfectly, kids meal was plentiful, burrito machaca was also excellent! Great visit!!!

First time visit, went thanks to a friends recommendation. Glad she took us! As a Texas transplant, it’s been hard to find good Tex mex. La Mission is absolutely delicious.
The salsa hits the spot. They also serve a type of slaw that is so good.
At a new Mexican restaurant, I like a variety, so I got a bean chalupa, beef taco, and beef enchilada. All it was fire. Loved it.
The Enchiladas La Crema remind me of the elusive Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas that you can find in Texas.
The drinks are fantastic! Great price too!
La Mission is worth the drive from Colorado Springs. We’ll DEFINITELY be back.
