L’Hostaria Mialgo si trova in una struttura storica del 1300 ben conservata nonostante gli anni trascorsi. Agli inizi del ‘900 il locale era conosciuto come Albergo della Democrazia, nome che verrà cambiato in Albergo Milano con l’avvento del fascismo. A fine 2014 abbiamo acquisito dalla vecchia gestione il locale e per tutto il 2015 lo abbiamo ristrutturato, cercando di mantenere il più possibile l’identità storica aggiungendo elementi moderni con un tocco di eleganza. Il 25 marzo 2016 il locale è stato inaugurato con il nuovo nome: Hostaria Milago. La nuova gestione a carattere familiare prosegue il nostro cammino nella ristorazione a Monte Isola che dura da oltre 30 anni.

Still catching up on reviews/pics from our trip to N Italy earlier this year. We spent a day traveling Lake Iseo by boat, and in spite of some rain, it was breathtakingly beautiful! We stopped on the big island in the lake for lunch, and chose Hostaria Milago… which was packed with locals! Always a good sign! The meal was fabulous, fresh caught fish, veggies, dessert and bubbles! All delicious! Highly recommend Hostaria Milago!

We had such a lovely night at Hostaria Milago. We were in search of some good Italian pasta as we don’t like seafood. I had seen some reviews the day before when we visited the island so decided to come over from Sulzano after a very disappointing meal the night before. The service was excellent and the meal was outstanding and good value. A very romantic night to come across at sunset and then have such a lovey meal and then catch the little boat back again. Hostaria Milago deserves more than its current stars. I’m happy to give it 5. One of the best meals we’ve had.

Nice, a but expensive (but not too much), we liked the view; the food; house white was drinkable, but below the average for the area; and the lava cake was way too sweet (although millefoglie was very nice).

We celebrated our 15th Wedding Anniversary on the 29th of January 2020 and we had a delicious dinner in this restaurant. They serve delicious foods based on seafoods. The place is elegant. The staff were kind and accommodating. And since you’re in an island surrounded by the beautiful lake, you’ll appreciate it more… hope to come back again next time in this awesome place!

Food was good, fantastic view and service was basically good with very good English skills. Reason why anyway only three stars: service offered children lunch for our three year old daughter and we agreed. The price was 15€ as we found out later. Not acceptable for children portion.
At paying I was also asked to pay 130€ for us (two adults & daughter) and I needed to reject twice before she agreed and told me 78€ – without any explanation and without to apologize.

Friendly welcoming staff (our waitress explained all the dishes in detail in English), located on the lakeside, food was AMAZING! We had three teens and the menu was a little daunting but they loved the food when it came! Highly recommend.
