I’ll start by letting you all know a little story-we ate at a high end steakhouse last evening, a place you would expect to receive impeccable service simply based on the location, atmosphere, menu and cost. We spent $425 for 2 for dinner- and we received better service at Brio hands down! Our waitress Cynthia was attentive, engaging, accurate and offered us all the suggestions and specials Brio had to offer. she checked on us often and made sure our meals were just as we asked. She is quite good at her craft! Serving in the food industry is an art and indeed a skill set not everyone possesses! The food was served on time, it was hot and looked appealing. The taste was fresh and flavorful and they had a nice selection of dishes. Prices were reasonable. Dinner for 2 with wine and dessert $120. The restaurant was clean and bright and the staff were all working and busy taking care of their customers. It was quite an enjoyable dining experience greatly enhanced by our waitress. Do yourself a favor and give them a try – ask for Cynthia !

Went on a dreary Saturday afternoon and the place was empty enabling us to get a table right away. Host staff and server were friendly.

The food and drink menus have plenty of choices for everyone. However, the prices are a little high relative to the portion sizes. For example, I ordered the Risotto entree, but do not eat scallops. I did not expect a price reduction, but would it have been to much for an extra shrimp? I received three below-average size shrimp, chopped up mushrooms, and two cups of rice for $35. Maybe I would’ve been better getting the side portion for one third of the price. However, it was tasty.

The atmosphere rating is based on the location looking like a casino buffet. Sterile. Cold. Boring.

Server was so friendly!

Probably will not return. There are better value options around.

Wow! I haven’t even paid for my meal yet and said I have to do a review! The ambiance of this place was breath taking. This is an Italian restaurant with a Tuscan vibe. The service was quick and each staff member was pleasant and welcoming. When I visit Florida this will definitely be a place I return to. The calamari was fresh and the sauces amazing I preferred the marinara which did not give me acid reflux. The flat bread was paper thin and crispy and it was delicious I had the sausage peppers ricotta flatbread. And for my drink a Sangria it was refreshing which I was looking for. Will probably return before I head back home to NYC. And you get complimentary fresh warm bread

Wife and I had an early dinner at Brio and the food and service were impeccable. Our server, Maggie, was prompt and courteous. The food had a nice presentation and the dish size was plenty. We will definitely return in a near future.

We had a great first visit – Cynthia was great, knowledgeable and on top of our whole dinner service. The strawberry balsamic chicken salad was perfect with light dressing and the lobster shrimp fettuccine was flavorful without being over powering- will be back again!

I had an outstanding experience at Brio in Freehold! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambience set the tone for a wonderful meal. The atmosphere is elegant yet comfortable—perfect for a special night out or a relaxed dinner with friends.
The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after you leave.
A special shout-out to our server, Cynthia B, who made the evening exceptional. Her service was truly impeccable—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without ever being intrusive. She anticipated what we needed before we even had to ask and added such a genuine, personal touch to the experience.
Brio has definitely earned a spot on my list of favorites. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely dinner with friends, our 1st time at Brio Italian Grille. Chicken Marsala with mashed potatoes & asparagus, was good, but, could have been warmer when served. Chicken Milanese was also good, but also not hot enough. Salads & pasta dish very good. The sour dough Bread was crusty & served with butter, delicious!
On to dessert…My cheesecake was served upside down, a bit watery, as if it had been frozen & defrosted, for me, this dessert was a miss. Our waitress was great, enthusiastic & friendly. Overall seeing our friends & catching up, made it a fun experience in the end.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. Our waitress, Cynthia, was attentive, quick and gracious. However, the bathroom had no heat and no hot water and the WiFi was not working. To write this review we had to leave the restaurant to get cell service. Highly recommend the shrimp and eggplant appetizer and the gorgonzola steak salad.

My wife works at Macy’s in the mall so we often meet at Brio’s after her shift is done. We very often have tho pleasure of having Cynthia wait on us. She is kind, engaging in conversation, and is always eager to serve us quickly and exactly in the manner we order. She’s just a very good waitress and clearly takes pride in her job. The food and atmosphere is always good which is always topped off by Cynthia’s personality. Go see her!

What an awful experience. It was not busy when we went in today, our friends wanted to dine here and were excited to find a brio after one near them closed. I can 100% say we won’t be back. It was Cold as hell, the heat apparently wasn’t working… I also think I’d like to have known the heat wasn’t working before we sat down, as a courtesy and the option to leave. Our server was terrible. She was a little rude…. Very distracted she was never anywhere I feel like she should have been. When we sat down, it was maybe 15 mins before anybody even came to our table. Food service was painfully slow. And our meals sat at the counter and she wasn’t anywhere to be found so somebody else brought out meals. The food wasn’t terrible, but it wasnt great, and with the service and lack of heat it was really a terrible experience that we won’t be returning.
