This place is disgusting. It took 20 minutes to get a beer in a can. A glass was not offered. The waitress was completely not interested in providing me any kind of service. The beef soup was good. I got it 40 minutes later. But only after I asked if I might get some food tonight. 1 hr later some over cooked, extremely dry brisket. It Was meant for the trash. The chicken was also gross.

The food was great overall. Deviled eggs were an awesome appetizer! The chilli was good, the meatloaf was great and the brisket was one of the best, if not the best I’ve ever had. Mashed potatoes were flavorful and unique. The shells and cheese were okay, I was expecting a smoked flavor from a BBQ place. It was my first time being there but always been on my list to go since watching the show when it originally aired!

Saturday was my birthday, and we were craving some good O’le BBQ. We had never been here, so we decided to make a day trip of it. We were NOT disappointed! What an experience. Sue is a true gem and made our experience exceptional with her banter. The portions are incredible. The price was great. The food was delicious. I’ve thought about those onions on the Mac n cheese for days. The brisket was perfection. Oh, and they have these “pig shots” that are dangerously good. We’ll be back for sure.

Moved to the area back in March from Pittsburgh. A couple weeks ago, I had a craving for some BBQ and looked up “bbq places in Erie”, Underdog BBQ popped up, and honestly since then I’ve been ordering their mouth-watering brisket sandwich that pairs flawlessly with their cornbread on the side nonstop for five out of the seven days of the week I swear, I cannot get enough of their delicious food!!! I’m bummed I’ve been sleeping on this place for all these months. Bonus shout out to their phenomenal customer service today (9/3/25): When I went on their website to order lunch, it had the label “out of stock” under my favorite brisket order, so I ordered their pulled pork sandwich to try, and when my husband brought it home for me he mentioned the staff “had put a treat in there for me” – it was my favorite brisket sandwich, with a note saying how they forgot to switch the out of stock back, so they gave it to me. Made my entire month and y’all have a forever regular out of me! I need to know who to thank, seriously thank y’all! Much love from Brittanica : )

Hard to pick from such a great collection of menu choices. Not that the menu is cluttered with too many items. The menu is set at an appropriate amount of options. The trouble is that each dish sounds equally as good as the others. The BBQ sauces are great, Pickled Hound stood out!

Hostess and server were very polite and friendly. Very clean and welcoming dining area. I got the backyard brisket platter and it was excellent. The baked beans are unreal!! I’ve never had baked beans that even came close!! The corn bread comes with maple butter on it, and I’m not normally big on maple flavored things, but it was delicious!! They have an outdoor seating area as well, and have menu items for dogs! Ask for their barkcuterie board. Highly recommend this place!!! Will definitely be returning.

I wasnt really sure what to pick but our awesome Waitor Z helped so much by suggesting the brisket sandwich. It was good but a little fatty for my liking. I tried the sauces only a couple hit rt with but to each their own. I also got the soup flight and my absolute favorite was the cabbage omg delicious simple but the flavor was on point. Over all I’ll be back even if its just to buy soup. Wish ya’ll were closer to Conneaut Lake

Everytime we come here it is an amazing and pleasant experience! It was our first time at their new location and I am so happy to see them expanding! They truly deserve it! The menu also expanded without it being too much to choose from. The staff is super friendly and the food is perfection. Definitely went into a good coma after lol.
