The quality of Kathy’s service was incredible and the quality of the food is absolutely phenomenal. Who would’ve thought that the best tasting cream of broccoli and cheddar soup would be found at a breakfast place of all places?! Big portions for reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

We’re always on the hunt for a great family breakfast spot, and Petinos in laval hit the spot.
Their fried chicken waffle eggs bene was exactly what we were craving — crispy chicken, soft waffles, and creamy hollandaise. The peanut butter and Nutella waffles were also the perfect finish. There are so many great options on the menu, and their service is extremely fast! Definitely going to be our go-to family breakfast spot!!

The service was amazing. The waiter was very friendly. But as for the food, we are paying very expensive for ou plates. To be getting the fruit that are rotten is unexceptable. Also the creton was dried not fresh. My son took French toast banana and Strawberries the rotten Strawberries were covered with Nutella.
We never had bad food at the St-Jerome location. We won’t be coming back to st-dorothe.

Arrived on a Thursday at 11:30 and the place was very busy. I now know why!!! I had the soup of the day – cream of broccoli and cheddar – and the Crab Cakes lunch special. I asked the chef for the recipes – that’s how good it all was. And the small waffle for dessert was divine Special thanks to our server Kathy! She too deserves 5⭐️

Had an amazing brunch experience here! Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible fresh, high quality ingredients and great flavors. The drinks were just as impressive. On top of that, the staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I’d come back to!

I was going to give 5 stars, but unfortunately my experience was spoiled. I personally saw a male staff member leave the men’s washroom and go straight back to work without washing his hands. My wife had the same experience in the women’s washroom, where she saw a female staff member do the same. At the very least, staff should show that cleanliness and hygiene are a top priority. This was very unhygienic, unpleasant, and left a very negative impression.

A Wonderful Return to an Old Favorite
We recently revisited this breakfast spot for the first time in over seven years, and it was just as fantastic as we remembered! Having lived in Montreal, this was always one of our go-to places, and we were thrilled to see that the quality, atmosphere, and service have remained top-notch.
The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared—just like in the past. From the rich, flavorful coffee to the perfectly cooked eggs, Crêpe and fluffy French toast, everything was spot on. The portions were generous, and the ingredients tasted high-quality.
The service was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home despite the time away. It’s rare to find a restaurant that maintains such consistency over the years, but this place has truly stood the test of time.
We’ll definitely be back again—and hopefully won’t wait another seven years this time!

Always love coming to this good old Petinos. Always fresh, always generous portions, fresh food and most importantly, prestige service! They have a small terrasse on the side, large inside room for large and small groups! I have been coming here for years and aways take the Mirage plate for their delicious crepe and large French Toast!

If you’ve ever been to any Petinos, you already know all about the good food and how the experience generally goes, but rarely have I ever left a restaurant where the food got outshined by the server. Kathy (I truly hope that’s how her name is written) is an incredibly charismatic and kind person that went above and beyond to answer questions, advise, and do absolutely everything in her power to ensure an excellent brunching experience to my family and me. She seems like a very fun, happy, and strong person and I wish her the best!
