⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Biaggi’s Ristorante Italiano has one of the best gluten-free menus I’ve found anywhere, and their staff is exceptionally well-trained when it comes to navigating dairy-free needs as well.

I’ve been able to observe their bar team both during the day and at night on a Saturday between Christmas and New Year’s, and wow — they have an absolute dream team running that bar. It genuinely reminded me of the incredible team that used to run the bar at the Chophouse inside Monarch Casino Resort Spa (sadly no longer there), a level of excellence I never thought I’d find again without tracking those people down in a luxury airport lounge at Denver International Airport.
Their efficiency, accuracy, teamwork, and attention to maintaining the bar while staying fast and friendly is truly impressive.

The basil lemon drop? Officially tied for my favorite anywhere. Those who follow me know my long-standing loyalty to the one at Sonny Lubick Steakhouse — there are now only two places in the country I trust to order this cocktail.

They are also fully handicap accessible for wheelchairs and walkers, and the restrooms include a thoughtfully designed stall that works beautifully for accessibility and for parents with babies. At lunch, the team was wonderful with my 13-month-old and even accommodated a table move when the first setup wasn’t working for him.

Their to-go team member Amanda (pictured with the mohawk) was fantastic — helping wherever she could and adding incredible value to the entire operation, not just her role. I truly hope management recognizes how much she elevates the experience. Hailey and Tyler were our primary bar servers and were absolutely crushing it.

The food is outstanding, prices are reasonable, portions are generous, drinks are fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is top-tier.

My favorite dish so far: Chicken Marsala with gluten-free penne (subbed for mashed potatoes due to dairy) — absolutely excellent.

For dessert, there’s currently one gluten-free and dairy-free option, and it’s perfect: a blood orange sorbet. Light, refreshing, not overly sweet, and available in one or three scoops — ideal even when you’re already full but still want a treat.

I’ve dined in the dining room multiple times and now at the bar, and both experiences have been consistently impressive.

And as someone with a long restaurant background — watching them individually aerate certain red wines as they pour using personal air aerators was next-level. Their wine service efficiency and technique is unlike anything I’ve seen in my restaurant journey, locally or across the country.

To start, my first visit to Biaggi’s was fantastic, the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Everything felt like a true 5-star experience. That said, one of my biggest pet peeves with restaurants is lack of consistency, and unfortunately my experience at the Loveland location this evening fell well short of that first visit.

First, while not a major issue, there was a small service hiccup. I specifically asked for a booth and was told we would need to wait, which we did. When we were called, however, we were not seated at a booth. To make matters more frustrating, the next couple after us was seated at a booth. It’s a preference of mine, but it was still a definite “come on” moment.

The bigger issue was the food. On our first visit, the portions were generous, which felt appropriate given the price point. This time, the portion size was noticeably smaller, and when you’re paying premium prices, consistency really matters.

I ordered the chicken parmesan, which should be a Parmesan-crusted chicken cutlet. What I received instead was a tough, chewy, pan-seared piece of chicken with absolutely zero crust, and I’m not exaggerating when I say zero. It was also substantially smaller than what I received on my first visit to this location. That was extremely disappointing.

The most alarming issue, however, was the cleanliness of the kitchen area, which can be seen in the photos attached to this review. These photos were taken directly above where food is being plated. While the dusty flowers are not directly over the kitchen, they still contribute to an overall impression of poor cleanliness.

The customer-facing areas of the restaurant appear clean, but the kitchen, arguably the area that should be held to the highest standard, looked concerning. It genuinely made me wonder what other aspects of the kitchen might not be as clean as they should be.

Overall, my first experience set high expectations, and unfortunately this visit did not meet them. I hope this feedback is taken constructively, because I know this restaurant is capable of doing much better.

I didn’t want to believe all the other reviews about how Biaggis has decreased in quality because we used to love this place. Came here for birthdays and special occasions!

But then our food took 45 minutes to come out just to be lukewarm and under seasoned. The staff are likely overworked so it was difficult to get service. The food was fine but not like it used to be and not worth how expensive it is. The lobster in the lobster fettuccine was mushy, the potatoes in the chilean sea bass were very plain, and the sea bass itself didn’t look anything like any chilean sea bass I’ve ever had before.

We are disappointed that we can no longer love Biaggis

Classy top notch Italian with authentic over the top dishes. Reasonable pricing. My roasted beet arugula salad was amazing, my lasagne was even better. Limited photos, we were dining w another couple. Pictured: shrimp crab cannelloni. Oh, Lobster bisque to die for.

The bruschetta was incredible. I enjoyed the pick two option. The garlic shrimp was a very good and so is shrimp fettuccine Alfredo. This was an incredible experience. I think the food is very good. I had a great time.

First and probably only time going. The restaurant is very nicely finished and has a great vibe. The patio is very nice and great place to enjoy some fresh air. My wife and I decided to try it out Biaggi’s to mix things up a bit. The wait time to get a table was very reasonable 10-15 minutes and they met that time frame. We ate on the patio and that could have been a mistake. Our waitress was very sweet and accommodating as we both asked for changes on what we ordered. I asked for Alfredo instead of red sauce and my wife asked for lobster instead of shrimp and they were happy to do it. The best part of our meal was the stuffed mushrooms. Highly recommend. That’s where this review goes down hill fast. The French onion soup was awful. I thought my wife was crazy so I tried it and boy was she spot on I can’t nicely explain the taste but let’s just say it was one of those flavors that hangs on but you wish it wouldn’t. Her meal was ok. I mean she was able to pick out the lobster and eat that but let’s be honest who orders seafood in a land locked state? I had ordered the chicken parm. The chicken. Was so over cooked and dry that I had to cut the whole tiny chicken breast up to find 3 pieces worth eating. The best part of my meal was the noodles that had next to no Alfredo on them and I had to order more Alfredo. Our waitress was probably overloaded with tables… not her fault but I left feeling like we had simply been forgotten. We waited for probably 10 minutes for our bill and then the mosquitoes came out so we stepped inside to wait for our bill. We wound up having to go to the hostess while they had to track down our waitress which took probably 5 min so we could pay our bill. I have never worked in the restaurant industry but to me here is a free tip. If you are going to have a patio, maybe only assign the server to that area. While we were waiting to pay we observed our waitress running from section to section. No wonder why we felt forgotten. I will end with this. It’s a really good thing we had a gift certificate for $100 bucks, because after tip, that is what we spent. $40 bucks a person and a 20 percent tip seems like a lot for the quality of food simply put, there are better places to eat for that kind of money. If I had to have spent my hard earned money, there would have probably been a conversation with a manager but since we probably won’t be back what’s the point?

I was beyond impressed with my experience here. I was a little nervous coming here after reading some of the bad reviews. I am so happy I came. I ordered the shrimp scampi and my boyfriend got lobster and chicken fettuccine. The food was outstanding. What really made the experience was our waiter Daniel. He was the best waiter both of us have had ever had. He came around every second making sure our drinks were filed and our needs were met. But also gave us time to have privacy and time to eat our meal. Best thing about him was his professionalism and attention to detail. He brought us so much bread when he noticed we ate it in two seconds because of how amazing it was. Will 100% be back.

Service was ok, Our server Tessa thought the 6 top by us needed more attention. So water wasn’t filled as often. I would think she might be inexperienced, not knowing that you may receive a bigger tip from two top if you treat them right. Ok on to food! I had the fettuccine with lobster. It was amazing! Loved it! The wife had the shrimp and crab cannelloni . She ate it all, just will try other items when we return. She also had the Lobster corn chowder which was great. I love a good wedge salad, and that did not disappoint. Very nice restaurant to sit down and enjoy a meal. Going to try pizza on next visit. It looked very good.
04/21/2025 Return visit.
French Onion Soup, braised short rib cannelloni, cajun rigatoni. Food was good again. Still need to do pizza! Service was much better this visit.

Very poor service. We walked in as a party of 5 at 7:30 pm. Late dinner.

They had a table ready. While we were at the entrance more family called and decided to join us. We asked if another table of 5 could be sat next to us when they arrived. Except when the hostess asked, the manager said no, (via the hostess). Now we need to wait 30 minutes and cannot be seated at all. Plenty of tables at the time, and tables turning over.

Went next door to PF Changs and were immediately greeted by friendly staff with no issues. Sat immediately and extra family joined later. Managers at the entrance were friendly and actually interacted with their restaurant guests.

Biaggi’s can definitely do better. Could’ve told us service would be a little slower than usual, due to the lateness, or we could have been seated and the other party would be a little delayed (as they weren’t at the restaurant yet anyway.) Biaggi’s needs major managerial improvement based on our experience tonight.

Hands down one of my top restaurant experiences ever. From the food, to the wine, to the atmosphere, to the amazing waitress (Meg), to seeing the manager making her rounds checking in, to the very reasonable price. Cannot possibly think of a more deserving place or people to leave a fantastic review for! I’ll be back!
