Had a pretty good solo meal here after hitting the gym. I’m glad they were open. The server was really cool. The food came super quick as well as being delicious. The ribs were my favorite along with the various barbecue sauces they had on tap. I’ll be back again with some more friends.

Drive by today, January 18, 2025 and this location is permanently closed. I’ve wondered for some time how on earth they continued business. The food was just not that good and the prices were steadily increasing. The sides were not flavorful and the overall customer experience didn’t seem like the primary focus. I hope that the future of this location becomes a fam friendly place like a Dave & Busters or even a Planet Fitness. Restaurant businesses don’t seem to attract much business these days. People are more focused on eating healthy, working out or using GLP-1s.✅

However, when the meal arrived, my enthusiasm somewhat deflated. The brisket portion was disappointingly small and, to my discerning palate, tasted like it had been quickly reheated and lathered with an off-the-shelf sauce. The chicken echoed a similar tale, leaving me craving more in terms of both size and flavor. Please refer to the attached photos for a visual account of my experience. Considering the meal’s price point of approximately $30 per plate, I expected a more generous portion and a higher level of culinary mastery.
That said, if you’re in the mood for a quick, convenient meal and are content with reasonably decent BBQ, Famous Dave’s could be a consideration.
As for the atmosphere, the restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday at 2 p.m., which might be a point of concern for those seeking a lively dining environment.
However, it was the exceptional service that redeemed my experience at Famous Dave’s. With only two individuals running the entire operation, their dedication to their roles was nothing short of awe-inspiring. The lady at the front desk not only managed orders and seating but also participated in preparing the meals. The commendable hard work and commitment displayed by the staff earns them a full 5 out of 5 stars from me.
In conclusion, Famous Dave’s earns an overall rating of 3 out of 5. The BBQ experience was okay, but it was the staff’s dedication and commitment that left a lasting impression. So if you’re seeking excellent service and are willing to compromise a bit on the BBQ, Famous Dave’s might be worth a visit.

Hadn’t been to a Famous Dave’s in years. Got the Ultimate Burger with mac and cheese, as well as cornbread.
Burger was excellent, as was the cornbread. Wouldn’t get the mac and cheese again.
The place was almost empty when I picked up my order around 7 pm. My order was ready within a couple minutes of arriving.

My family and I came here for a birthday celebration. The place was quite after 5 p.m. during a week day. The food came fast and the drinks were enjoyable. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed the visit.

$16.25 for fifteen burnt ends?! Really? That’s too much for some burnt ends. I understand charging that much for like a half a pound or even a pound. It seems like I gotten more fries than the burnt ends. Don’t even get me started on the loose Mac & Cheese. That was really pathetic excuse of Mac & Cheese. The burger was decent but too much sauce. Come on guys, y’all can do better than this. Ugh!!

Food was underwhelming, everything tasted very bland. The „burned ends“ where just plain pieces of chewy brisket glazed with bbq sauce, Sausage most boring sausage I ever ate. Can not recommend, will not visit again.
