Great local spot. A community landmark because of all the things the owner does for Shepherd. There are things on the menu that are just average but there are other things that are outstanding. Decent draft selection, full bar but this is a restaurant not a party bar.

Home town love. This bar is full of delicious food. Homemade with lots to choose from. Good place to stop by after work and have a cold one, so many beers to pick from. They also do special items on Fridays. On Sundays they have an amzing brunch buffet. If you want great food and a good time shepherd bar is the hot spot to be.

First time here. This bourbon was fantastic. Woodford Reserve. Anyway, it’s the only pic I took. The maple bacon cheddar burger was fantastic. I stuck with the homemade chips and I am glad I did! Delish. We also got some fried mushrooms. Fabulous. The service was great. Very attentive. If you have not been here it is worth a try.

Quick and friendly service. Older bar with a warm vibe. My chicken fingers were a little well done but the fries were excellent.

I took my family here and we all agreed that the food was really good. My kids both said that they liked their pizza more than any other place so I’ll have to return to check it out for myself. The service was pretty good as well but it was a weekday and not overly busy. Local ‘Mom & Pop’ places have always proved to be better than chain restaurants and this place is no exception.

Food was tasty, and service was good. The decor was really cool. Some nice taxidermy, a neat looking canoe, and what looks like Birchwood ceiling inserts makes this place look and feel cozy. Particularly appreciated are the extra high partitions between both.

Our party of four enjoyed the small town vibe, excellent service and burgers cooked perfectly as ordered. Way too many places overcook burgers but all of the burgers were great. Nice selection of draft and bottled beers. Great atmosphere for us to have a conversation. Definitely going back.
