I have an allergy to both cinnamon and onion. I asked for fresh cheese and a glove change like I always do and they blatantly ignored it. After I asked for them to remake so that I wouldn’t have an allergic reaction they removed the cheese, shuffled it around a bit, and put it back on. Completely incompetent way to deal with an allergy and a problem I’ve never had at a different Skyline. Rude waitress, rude kitchen staff, bad experience all around

I frequent this location several times a month when staying in a nearby hotel. It is something I look forward to during my many trips to Columbus. The last few times I have dined in, I have been very disappointed. The most recent visit warrants a review, it was that bad. It was a an hour and 15 minutes prior to their posted closing time but they had closed down half of the restaurant already, concentrating diners in one small section, tightly together. It was still pretty busy as all tables in that small section were full. The staff was busy doing closing side work. The stench of bleach was overwhelming; the floors, tables and chairs were wet with cleaning solution. My server was annoyed that I asked for a dry table, evident by her loud sigh and eye roll. I ordered my usual. It arrived immediately…quite cold. The buns were crusty and cold, the hot dogs were cold, the chili somewhat warm. The check came immediately with the food and I never heard from my server again as she was busy mopping floors. I took my glass to the register to request a refill on soda and when I returned, the bus person had cleared my dinner…that I was not finished with. I complained at the register, they offered to make me another plate. I asked if it would be hot, she said “probably not, we are closing soon.” (The posted closing time was still 55 minutes away.) The bus person brought me a consolation bag of oyster crackers. (Not a joke.) The highlight was the offer of a to-go cup for my soda since they had just refilled it at the counter (but I no longer had food to accompany it). I noted the names of those working but I will not embarrass them in a public review. It was the evening of Dec 28.

I never had a bad experience at skyline! My wife and 4 kids absolutely love the food. And we all love the atmosphere of this family friendly restaurant. Staff is always on top of their game and never disappoint. If you have never had thr flavor and favorite of OHIO, don’t miss out.

Everything was EXCELLENT!! Our waitress was on top of things. The only slight problem was that it was hot and stuffy. The temperature outside was 93, and it felt like 89 in the restaurant.

The food was good but not a lot of selection so just know if you have a picky eater in your group that they really better like chili. The chili dog was good but a bit small, the chili cheese fries were fine, & the service was really good.

Loved this visit to Skyline Chili. Hadn’t been to Ohio in 25 years. I made time to revisit. Loved it. Just like I remembered. But the true secret is the people working at this location. Very helpful, kind, patient, and caring about everything. All staff was getting along and happy. You don’t see this in many places anymore. Thanks for a good meal.

This is the first and last time I will visit this place. Seasoning was great and all, but the amount of cheese they put on the dish is crazy! It’s basically eating cheese as your main dish with the side of your actual meal.. I had to ask for another plate to get the cheese off.

I typically have 0 issues at this skyline, the staff is always friendly and kind. On my most recent visit, we got a 3-way with the extreme cheese (highly recommend) but we found some mold in the cheese bag, so we unfortunately were not able to use it and had to throw it away. And everyone knows you can’t have a 3-way without cheese, so it very much so threw off our experience.
