The biggest thing that took this from a very nice experience to a “WOW, did that really just happen?” moment was the most basic and easy party of the service process. My daughter and I say at the bar during a dinner rush give it order, and had really good interesting with the bartender.
App and entree come out and are consumed… But my drink is never refilled. NOT ONCE, not even a mention of it.
Now I know what you might be thinking, it’s the holiday season, 1/2/26… Maybe he was very busy… But then I watched him give very good customer service to the folks next to us… Bringing them regular on their drinks that were half full and ignoring us. As we watched him wait on them with great service and straight up forget our existence, I was so livid that it was all I could do to keep loudly tapping my glad on the bar… And still nothing. So I just took out my CC and waived over the food runner and paid my check.
Tipped well, but I did mark on the receipt that I wasn’t served well and that I was never given a refill.
Again, the SIMPLEST task and he was taking care of others… Don’t know what we did to fall off his radar.

We had an amazing time! Kai was an incredible and very kind server, always attentive and professional.
Both pizzas were delicious — one topped with fresh seasonal vegetables and the other a perfect mix of tomato, burrata, and basil.
The flavors were authentic, the dough was crispy and airy, and everything tasted fresh and high-quality.
Great prices, fantastic service, and top-notch food. We’ll definitely be back!

Took my son here for his first visit and it was great. There is not a California Kitchen in his area. Food was good as was the service. Accessible access was good. Every dish we had was good and you can take an unbaked pizza home for a nominal fee which is better than leftovers!

We were shopping with my mom and decided to finally give this place a try. We had the lunch special: the pepperoni pizza and the Cesar salad; the pizza was delicious and the salad had a very generous amount of cheese and was very tasty. For dessert we had the butter cake and coffee, they were both incredible. Will was our server and he was fantastic, very attentive and nice.
I recommend this place for any occasion either a date or with a group of friends, the food has quality and the ambiance is very inviting.

Food was good per usual. We added carne asada on our margharita pizza and received a veryyyyy tiny amount, which is fine, but when we received the bill we were charged almost $6.00 for it!!!!! I should have taken a picture, it was the joke of the table all night!
My only complaint was our server Tyler. He seemed to be giving the table next to ours great customer service but definitely not to us. He almost seemed bothered. A young couple walked in right before we were leaving, mind you it was 8:55pm, and I heard him tell them “just so you know we close at 10:00pm”, his tone was rude and unwelcoming. He needs to learn customer service skills. As a former server, I typically tip at least 30%, I tipped him 20% and trust me that was me being very generous. Everyone has a bad day but this guy was unbelievable. As a repeat customer, I will not be back for awhile.

I haven’t been to CPK ever, but my first visit was a pleasant one. The decor is a fine mix of hippy and modest, and there’s an open kitchen. Our service did their job well, but it wasn’t the best I ever had.
The food itself is delicious. I especially liked the avocado chicken eggs rolls. The buffalo cauliflower is also good. However, I thought my pizza was very spicy, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Overall, would recommend.

I ordered after my favorite pizza the NEW UPSIDE DOWN CHEESECAKE!
BUT it arrived with out the palmtree. My server answered me that they broke the stencil! The cake is even 12.49$ i was very disappointed

The kids’ pizza at California Pizza Kitchen is a fantastic deal! For just $7.99, you get a freshly made personal pizza with cheese, a variety of toppings, and a drink included. The crust is fluffy and golden, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the portion size is great for kids. High quality and great value—definitely one of the better kids’ meals out there!
