This is a 24-hour waffle restaurant and the first thing on the menu is waffles. Totally makes sense. The coffee is there to make the food shine. So if you’re coming for designer coffee, this is not the place. I ordered the special number three which is a chopped steak with eggs and it was good and I to have chose to have it the way they make it. It was unseasoned so I was able to season it to my taste. The vibe is old style coffee house with countertop seating as well. Parking was available when I got there but it is always busy and I do mean always busy. I get that because the staff are super friendly and they really are there and get you your food and it’s very quick. It’s not a big place but the turnover with the food is really good. So if the atmosphere is only four stars, it’s because it is a little worn down but it’s also got a charm to it. So factor that in and enjoy the food.

As upset as I am you didn’t have biscuits and gravy at 1 am, I can’t leave a bad review.
This was my first time here. The waitress recommended me something else since y’all were out.
Chicken and rice soup and grilled cheese. It was very good. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting that. The staff is super friendly too.

If you live in Asheboro, you know. A master burger plate, a waffle, fried seafood, a bacon and egg sandwich, a meat and 3 meal. You can’t go wrong. Been going here since I was 10 years old. Great memories in this place.

Stayed in Asheboro and found a great local place! I had the waffle and country ham. In true Carolina’s fashion, the ham was salty, which is great! That’s the way country ham should be. The waffle was excellent. Place was packed, they got our order quickly and got our food even quicker! This is your Asheboro breakfast spot!

Food was good but they got my order wrong, then blamed us for ordering wrong, then pretty much paid double for a muffin though i didn’t realize until we already left. They are usually really good but its been a while since I had such a bad experience anywhere around here. Super disappointed

Ordered a chocolate chip muffin and they came with a chocolate chip waffle and hash browns so I said I ordered the muffin, waitress proceeded to tell me no honey you ordered a waffle I even repeated it back. But my partner says he knows I said muffin. So they took it and brought me a muffin but left the hash browns which I didn’t touch and a couple minutes later, I see her at the counter and hear her saying something about not ordering hashbrowns or it not coming with them while looking at me and the other waitress laughed. Just felt really uncomfortable. Then when it came time to pay, she had in the receipt a choc waffle for $6 something so we waited for her to get back and she said it was a dollar difference so she was gonna discount it, yet on the menu (I double checked) a muffin is $3 something. And then my partner ordered a biscuit he never got which was on the receipt so she took another dollar off. We may as well have gotten two muffins with what we didn’t get back. From the first comment of her saying “no you didn’t” when we knew for sure I said muffin made me feel like she thought I was stupid. At least the food was good.

This place would remind you of an old time truck stop breakfast minus the cigarette machine. It was quiet, cozy and welcoming. The food is really delicious and the coffee taste fresh brewed without that commercialized after taste. Carolyn is an excellent server and has a great friendly personality even after working all night! I stopped in here as a last minute change of mind and I absolutely do not regret it and will be coming back again! Highly recommend! They are also open 24/7 except for Saturdays when the close from 2 am to 4 am.

We stopped here for breakfast at the end of our Blue Ridge Parkway trip. This was probably our 5th diner breakfast of the whole trip and it was the best by a country mile! Service was great, super friendly. I think our server was Dana, sorry if I’m misremembering! The food was perfect, we had the western hash, country ham, omelette, grits, pecan waffle to share. The star was the buttered and toasted smashed biscuits, OMG!!!!! Got me drooling writing this review!

Never ordered anything from here that I didn’t enjoy. My family loves ordering waffles, gravy biscuits and steak and cheese sandwiches when eating here. Always busy and a line waiting to get in the door. This place is a must to visit when in town.
