This place has changed ownership but I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner and must say he has done an excellent job continuing the legacy of the namesake.
The food, the atmosphere, and the family climate is great. Loved seeing the family photos on the wall of all the growing families. It also speaks volumes that the family members wished to stay on working even under the new ownership.
The pho is also a treat on those cold rainy days. Sure to warm the soul.
Keep up the amazing work!
Not sure what happened but my Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box was horrible today. The chicken had a weird “gamey” aftertaste and the sauce was gross. Smelled like it was scooped from the Missouri River with a used boot!
The sushi was still good; however, I’m writing this review from the toilet. ♀️ the waitress was nice.
I won’t be returning.
Definitely swing by if youre in the area!
It doesn’t matter if you eat in the restaurant, pick it up, or even DoorDash it the food is ALWAYS on point.
My favorite are the Magic Mushrooms, Lisa, and Vegas roll, but the steak bento box cannot be beat.
Honestly if you love yourself, eat at Mr. Les. You deserve it.
We tried the Ichi role, Myle roll, and a bento box with teriyaki chicken, fried rice, miso soup, and a 913 roll.
Every part of the meal had fantastic flavor, and we enjoyed all of it!
This was definitely some of the best sushi we’ve had in a long time.
We ordered to go via phone with no issues. The atmosphere inside looked solid, but we ordered to go.
Overall, we’d highly recommend checking it out and supporting their business!
I ordered the Vietnamese coffee which was an absolute delight. Strong coffee with a not too sweet but still balanced taste, which they serve in a cup that you mix and pour over ice. There were some coffee grounds in mine but it didn’t effect the experience one bit. The bento box is a great deal at 15 bucks that comes with soup, salad, a protein, rice and a sushi roll. The miso soup was well seasoned and delicious, the house salad was made with romaine which I appreciated over the traditional iceberg and the salad dressing was a nice miso/sweet dressing. I picked chicken teriyaki which again was perfectly seasoned and the chicken was well cooked. My only disappointment was the sushi itself, the filling was a bit bland and the rice was crunchy. The spicy mayo was also sweet which I wasn’t a huge fan of.
Overall they had solid dishes and it was a good experience, but I wouldn’t go back for the sushi
