I had the roast beef sandwich—just okay for $18. The horseradish lacked kick, the provolone was mild, and the au jus tasted like plain broth. On the plus side, the sautéed spinach was really good.
Service started friendly, but after saying she’d be right back for my dessert order, my server disappeared for 20 minutes. No apology—just blamed a “large table,” which didn’t make sense. By then, I wasn’t in the mood for dessert.
They also don’t offer a military discount. Overall, not impressed enough to return for the more expensive menu items.
The ambiance was perfect – elegant yet comfortable.
Our server, Brian, was a true professional. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offered excellent recommendations, and provided attentive, but not intrusive, service. The steaks were, of course, the star of the show. Cooked to absolute perfection, tender, and full of flavor. The blue cheese, garlic butter sauce on top of my sliced fillet was everything .. also a shout out for the lobster mac and cheese and most importantly, dessert… Their homemade peanut butter pie is truly a slice of heaven. Every aspect of our dining experience was top-notch, and Brian’s exceptional service elevated it even further. Visiting from New York City, so our food expectations are pretty high and I say with confidence that our expectations were exceeded.
We can’t wait to return!
All in all it was a good fall festive experience.
Hostess never greeted us when we arrived just handed the other hostess menus and told her to take us to (table) 42. Second hostess asked us if we were celebrating anything and when we told her we were she clearly didn’t listen and just responded with ” oh just life in general!” So we got dropped at a tiny cramped table and left.
The waiter was adaquate but a little over the top in praising our menu choices.
We as a couple in our mid thirty’s had to ask for a cocktail and wine menu. The cocktails we ordered were watered down so heavily as to be nearly flavorless. My margarita being just a vaguely citrusy water.
The food was terrible. My pork cowboy was way over cooked (asked for medium+ got well done) and so heavily salted that it was all you could taste. My girlfriend ‘s salmon was undercooked and slightly fishy. The lobster mac was extremely fishy. Honestly the only well made part of the meal was the popcorn shrimp appetizer. We ended up having to eat our meals because we were hungry and the waiter took forever to come and check on how our food was.
It was also extremely loud in the dining area as the noise from the bar was horrendous with people shouting and screaming throughout the meal.
Ultimately for the $200 we spent on our meals, I wouldn’t bother coming back, nor could I recommend this restaurant to others. There are far better options available locally for a fraction of the price.
