I had the Mahi Mahi Sandwich (pan-fried white fish with bacon, peppers, a drizzle of Alfredo sauce, honey, and lemon slices), and from the very first bite, I was absolutely blown away. The balance of sweet and savory flavors, the freshness of the ingredients, and the perfectly toasted bread made it one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve ever had.
The café itself is spotless, spacious, and beautifully located — the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. The manager and chef were both incredibly welcoming and kind, and you can tell they truly care about what they do.
The only downside? I don’t live in Orlando — otherwise, I’d be here every week! Whether you’re visiting (like me) or lucky enough to call this city home, don’t miss this hidden gem. French Café is an experience worth savoring.

I’m no connoisseur of French food, but I know what I like. We found this place through a google search, and it was pretty close to our daughter’s place. We were celebrating her birthday over lunch, so we headed there, wanting something different.
We were very pleased with the experience. It’s smallish and the weather was perfect, so we sat out along the street. I think the street-side noises and people passing by made it feel more like a real European cafe. The food was very good. We had croquettes, the Philly, and caprese. All were really great. Even the salads had a special family dressing, which I really enjoyed.
The personal attention and the warmth of the owner made the experience perfect. Though we didn’t ask, he seems authentically French, and it was obvious he really loves the whole experience, and is not just in it for a buck. He checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was perfect. It was like having a meal with family, who sincerely want you to have the best meal. The waitress was also very friendly and knowledgeable, and gave a personal touch to the experience.
To top it off they brought out a delicious crème brûlée macaroon with a candle and an amazing fruit crepe.
We recommend this charming little restaurant and are thankful for a great experience.

OMG so good!!!! Gluten free options abound! Everything tasted amazing! My Mom, sister, and I were all impressed and left with full, happy tummies. The wait staff was friendly and quick. The food was amazing I would recommend it, we had the French Toast and the Omelet with spinach, onion, cheese and bacon. The French toast was absolutely delicious, the edges were crispy but so light and fluffy on the inside, and the creme drizzle is absolutely divine. The omlete was tasty, the outside was crisp and the onions were a nice added crunch. The bread that came with it was fresh and so pillowy. 10/10, would dine here again!

We ordered the prosciutto and goat cheese sandwich, and the smoked salmon sandwich. Both came with a fresh, well-dressed side salad and were incredibly tasty. The salmon sandwich was super fresh and light, while the prosciutto with egg and cheese was more rich and satisfying. The quality of ingredients really stood out.
Even though we dined in, we asked for the food to be packed as if for takeout — and they still provided everything: proper utensils, plenty of napkins, and neat presentation.
The coffee was delicious — not over-roasted, just rich and smooth. We also had desserts, which were amazing. Everything we tried was full of flavor and made with care. Sorry for the photo of the dessert — the kids got to it too fast, so here’s a partially eaten piece

We came here for the first time. The baguette bread and garlic butter is out of this world!! I could come here just to eat that! It’s soooo good!!! The eggs were really good too! They cook real eggs, not egg beaters. Coffee was amazing too! The server forgot our French toast, but that’s ok. We were full anyways. Will come back when in DTO to try them next. Everything was amazing. Totally recommend it.
