Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

How, when you only have one single customer, and you ask the customer what type.of ketchup would you like and your one single customer says SPICY, how can you always manage to screw this up? I mean really, half the time I go through the drive through you manage to stick the wrong ketchup in the bag. Maybe you should stop asking through the speaker and ask at the window, and show the customer what youre sticking in the bag. This way, you can get corrected in person. Geesh!

Food was ok. However, I ordered before 3 other people. I didn’t get my food for over 20 minutes. Everyone else got their food long before I did. This was a first for me. Food normally is out long before. Not sure what happened but it was not a normal situation for Whataburger. Someone dropped the ball. Hope it gets better for them.

The food is always good, but they forget to put condiments and additional toppings that are purchased on your burger (missing jalapeño). It looks like they took a medium fry and dumped it into a large container.

I usually don’t go somewhere for a 3rd time after other mistakes but tonight I have then the benefit of the doubt.
My family and I came to dine in for dinner. They had no one inside which had us believe the service would be quick.
We ordered and waited about 15-20 minutes which is no big deal.
When the food arrived we noticed my wives meal had tomatoes through the wrapper (which she did not want). Upon opening the wrapper I found that they also decided to include a finger covering glove. Disgusted I went to bring it to the mangers attention. When she saw it she took it and walked back to the kitchen. To my surprise her, another manager, and the rest of the staff looked at the burger and laughed. I assume unsanitary practice in their kitchen must be hilarious at this time of night. At this point the manger Antonio came over, still laughing, telling us they would remake it. I told him I just wanted a refund at tire point which he then proceeded to roll his eyes and walked off. When Antonio and the other manager return they proceeded to argue with me that they couldn’t refund me unless they recharged my card and canceled it since they just had a “ New system” put in today? Obviously that made no sense so I persisted to ask just for them to go on another register and refund me. Pretty pathetic service and management. With all the laughter it feels this was intentional.

Went to this Whataburger on a Saturday at 11 PM. Customer service was great. Food was horrible ….raw patty meat in the sweet and spicy burger.

I have never had a worse experience at a whataburger before. Ordered three 3-piece chicken strip meals, all with lemonades for the kids and then two other burger meals.

First off, we only received 2 of the chicken meal boxes, and the drinks were wrong. They also forgot to give us a coke from the other burger order.

They also forgot to add jalapeños to one of the burger orders and the burger & bun were ice cold and tasted old.

ALSO we only got 2 ketchups for the entire order for FIVE PEOPLE…. We love whataburger but will not be coming back to this one.

I don’t know what change they made in the last two weeks. But this went from a 3 star Whataburger to a 5 star one. Maybe it’s a new manager that actually gives a damn, or something. But it worked, and keep doing it. My onion rings are hot and delicious, and the burger is too. Previously that would typically not be the case
