Once we were finally seated and placed our order, I noticed multiple tables that arrived after us receiving their food while we were still waiting. There were only two of us. When I asked our server, he informed us that our order had been moved to the back. I continued to wait patiently for another 30 minutes, but nothing arrived. When I asked again, he apologized and explained that our order had been skipped altogether.
By the time the food arrived, the experience had already been disappointing—and unfortunately, the food itself did not make up for it. The steak was underwhelming and certainly not worth the price. I’ve had much better steaks at more reasonable establishments. This place is not worth the time or the money. I will not be returning.
The ambience is what you would expect from an upscale steakhouse – dim lighting, smart casual attire and valet parking.
The steak was absolutely phenomenal—one of those flavors that makes you close your eyes and slow down just to savor it. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked. The lobster was tender and buttery, and the broccolini had just the right bite.
The ambience was exactly what you want from a fine steakhouse: calm, elegant, and intimate, with low lighting that set the perfect mood. And the service? Flawless—attentive, professional, and genuinely kind.
I really, truly enjoyed Morton’s. It’s the kind of place you leave already thinking about your next visit.

Founded in February 1978 in the affluent Near North Side, Chicago, Illinois, United States Of America, Morton’s The Steakhouse was set up by business partners Arnold ‘Arnie’ Jerome Morton and Klaus Fritsch.
.
Starting with just giant potatoes and beef steaks, Morton’s The Steakhouse gained fame through regular customer Frank Sinatra, and today operates over 60 outlets across 10 countries.

Opted for the Surf And Turf (USD $91). The 16-ounce (or 450 grams) Beef Steak New York Striploin is simply seasoned with salt and black pepper, grilled to my choice of medium-rare doneness, perfect. It’s tender and juicy with a gentle chew, slicing easily, carrying robust smoky meaty salty savoury peppery spice flavour.
.
The enhancement of Grilled Cold-Water Lobster Tail has sprinkling of salt, paprika, and fine coriander, with a bouncy springy succulent bite, carrying mellow smoky sweet savoury salty buttery flavour.

Enjoyed every bit of this luxurious dish that represents the best of land and sea.
.
The Loaded Baked Potato (USD $13) is huge, a whole skin-on potato, partially sliced open lengthwise, filled with sour cream, butter, spring onions, and pork bacon bits. With tender creamy soft crunchy textures and starchy earthy sour milky vegetal sweet meaty salty flavour, this warm side dish satisfies and delights.
.
The Bread Onion Caraway (USD $Complimentary) is dense outside, soft inside, and incredibly aromatic, with a bready earthy salty sweet nutty flavour that is so addictive. A house signature and creator of fond memories, this was so good I couldn’t stop reaching for more. It’s not just bread! Served with luxury butter, which lends a buttery milky savoury sweet flavour.
Two standouts while I was eating at the bar were Maggie and Chase. It wasn’t just me; I could see both working the clientele like they were family or friends.
The wedge salad, the perfectly cooked medium-rare filet mignon, mashed potatoes, and key lime pie were all standouts.
I highly recommend visiting this location, having dinner with family (or for business), and making it a memorable night.
