Be realistic when visiting a low cost buffet/takeout. The food quality is average, its on par with cheap takeout but the service was good / selection and was one of the cleanest buffets I’ve been to. While weird to have only disposable plates, uniquely solved a lot of issues like water usage, food consumption/waste, wage dish washer and liabilities. (I peaked in the kitchen, lied said i thought this was the way to the bathroom) Saw surprisingly organized clean kitchen with a small dish washing area, yeah buffet plates ain’t a task I’d want to do in there. Better value than fast food Chinese. I personally liked everything I had and will go back.

It is what you would expect from a chinese buffet location. The service is canned, no real personality or interaction. The food is pretty good given it’s a buffet. We’re local so it’s our go to when we’re not feeling like cooking. Great variety, something for everyone. Great prices for all you can eat. Heck MacD’s meals cost more. Place needs a make over.

A Chinese buffet restaurant with great value for money. Over a hundred dishes including meat, vegetables, and fish are available for self-service, along with soup, desserts, fruits, and ice cream only for $13.49. And, no tax!!! It’s a must go if it is on your trip.

Definitely a small-town Chinese buffet pleasantly surprising with its tasty, authentic dishes and generous variety. Authentic flavors and satisfying variety from dumplings to stir-fries. And for dessert, pistachio delight!! The service was friendly and attentive, making the overall experience enjoyable and worth a visit!

The prices keep going up quite a bit. I’ve gone about once or twice a year. I’ve gotten sick from this place 3 times. I noticed a lot of people come out of the bathroom not washing their hands and then touching the ladles. I think they offer gloves though. Decent variety

I’m giving them five stars to boost their rating a bit, because I think people are being a little unfair in some of their reviews. I would rate them a solid 4 stars all around.
The good:
-The takeout box is THE WAY TO GO!
-Plenty of variety and various foods to choose from, despite being a small buffet.
-Sushi is amazing, especially if you catch it right when it was made. The elderly woman who typically makes it is clearly a pro. Especially love the deep fried sushi and the one with sauce drizzled on top, oh, and the ones with fish roe.
-The BUNS! I highly recommend the steamed pork buns, they’re delicious.
-Spring rolls are great.
-Chicken on a stick is a must have.
-Once you try everything they offer, you know exactly what you want and it’s easy to find and fill up your plate/takeout box.
-Food is filling and reheats well the next day for leftover lunch, especially if you use the toaster.
-The food is highly consistent, it is always made exactly the same which is great for anyone who hates inconsistencies in food (autistic people, etc).
-The owners and staff are all really friendly! The old guy who is usually at the register or floating around the food is super nice.
The bad:
-The flavors are clearly made with Montana’s residents in mind, meaning none of it is spicy at all, and there are not as many authentic Chinese flavors as I would personally like to see. The food is very much what a typical Midwestern white American would think Chinese food is supposed to be.
-The food is too greasy. Like, way too greasy. I like the taste of the noodles for example, but they are quite greasy and leave a pool of grease at the bottom of the takeout container.
-Many of the sauces used are too sweet. Again, I believe they are catering to locals.
All in all, I think with the lack of options in town, the China Buffet is a pretty good place to scratch that itch when you just want to eat a whole mess of Asian-y cuisine.

I came here on the recommendation of my sister-in-law. We were greeted at the door and given a seat. Yes, there was a large assortment of meals, but it tasted just okay. Like the taste was off. The impolite server who served the drink and asked about the unclean dish. I became sick on my way home. Too greasy in my throat.

Best when stoned, it’s China buffet after all. $15 for unlimited food, I couldn’t recommend more for a broke college student who misses actual food. It’s exactly what you’d expect. Not sure how long some of the food is left out, but it tastes great anyway! The Chicken wings are shockingly good and crispy, I just wouldn’t touch the shellfish lol.
